Second Breast Pump score!

I read the information from my health insurance (BCBS) and it said that I could get one double electric breast pump per calendar year.  Since I ordered my breast pump last November, I decided that I would call and see if I was eligible for one now that we are in a new year.  I was!  Definitely not a necessity but I'm so excited that I can keep a pump at work now and not have to carry it back and forth!!!!

Re: Second Breast Pump score!

  • I do this and love not having to schlep my pump back and forth. I wash my pump parts at work too so they can just stay there. Makes it so much easier! Less stuff to forget!

  • @RedDawnsRevenge‌ - in Canada Mirena is 400 dollars and good for 5 years!!! The crazy thing is, they will pay for the pill which is about 20 dollars a month, so 240 a year x 5 years..1200 dollars!!! I'm still shaking my head over this one!

Ya, in Ca here, and no insurance. But I agree it seems stupid from that perspective. Maybe I need to visit canada? Will they let me have the mirena for $400 or is that a locals only special?
