Trouble TTC

Hi again

Hi everyone,
I posted a couple of times previously around November/December 2013, but stopped visiting the board for a while for various reasons. I thought I'd say hello again (siggie updated). I started with my RE in May, and I absolutely love her & her office! I had a polyp removed in July and I started my first injectable cycle this month. We just had our third IUI today and I'm starting crinone tomorrow morning. Anyway, just a short little re-intro to say hello! Positive vibes for all of you!

  • @IPutKetchupOnKetchup: Agreed! My RE is a rare find! I met someone in the waiting room this morning who had just transferred to my RE from the only other fertility institute nearby. She had some horror stories from that office, so it was great to be able to reassure her that she was in a way better place! Having a RE you can trust and office staff that's supportive and friendly makes a world of difference for stress levels!

  • I LOVE wine! Since quitting running, that's my only other hobby ;-) But, I decided to avoid wine this cycle because it was my first on injectables. I know that's not necessarily going to do anything, but I didn't want to have any guilt if it turns out as a bfn. I plan to allow myself a couple of "free passes" for a glass here or there, but I haven't redeemed these yet. What's your take on wine & stimming? or 2ww wine?

(P.S. DH opened a bottle last week and only drank one glass (how is that possible?) so the  open bottle just started at me for days until he finally finished it)

Congratulations, you have just made a friend for life!

Seriously though, welcome back.  GL this cycle!

    -----------------------------------SIGGY WARNING-------------------------------------

    Me: 31| DH: 36
    TTC #1 Since 07/2010
    DX: Unexplained Infertility
    TX:
    IUI #1 on 7/3/14 100 mg Clomid + Ovidrel + IUI (44 million sperm, 1 dominant follie) = BFN
    IUI #2: on 7/28/14 100 mg Clomid + Ovidrel + IUI (23 million sperm, 2 dominant follies) = BFN

    IUI #3 on 8/22/2014 100 mg Clomid + Ovidrel + IUI (53 million sperm, 2 dominant follies)= BFP MMC @ 7weeks

  • Leftover wine isn't my style either! I just like to take a cycle off from wine here & there to remind myself that it's not the problem. I didn't drink during 2ww after first IUI and now I'm feeling slightly more optimistic because of the polyp removal, so I'm revisiting the horrid life of no wine.
