TTC post-Implanon

Just had my second Implanon removed after having it (both combined) for 5 years. DH and I are beginning the TTC journey and I'm just curious how things went for others after removal. It's been out since July 25th and I got my AF this past Saturday after spotting on & off for the week before. I'm interested to see how long this lasts as I've heard from several women who bled continuously for months on & off before regulating. Horror stories? Pregnancy soon after? Anything Implanon related.. I'm all ears. :)

    OB said we could start TTC at any point after removal.  I know every woman's system differs from the next and with PCOS, I'm prepared for the chance of some curveballs.  I just haven't spoken with many women who have/have had Implanon so I'm just interested to hear how it worked for others, during or after.  I usually had to explain what it was, where it was, etc., with most people looking at me like I was crazy when I said it was in my arm.  :-??  Thank you for the links! Going to check them out now.

    I don't even go to this board, but I had my Implanon removed after having had 2 of them. About four weeks later I was pregnant. I didn't get a period, I'm guessing I ovulated after about 2 weeks of having it removed and that was that.

    Everybody's experience differs though. My OB has had many patients on Implanon and said that she has seen women get pregnant right away after it and others for whom it takes a while.
