cold brew mother's milk tea?

edited August 2014 in Breastfeeding
Hi everyone! Has anyone cold brewed mother's milk tea? Does it remain effective?

Any tips on making it taste better?

I'd like to start trying it because my milk supply just keeps dropping :(

TIA

  • I don't mind the taste, so I can't help there (try a different brand?), but cold is as effective as hot.

  • Thanks! I know that cold brewing results in a different end product (for example lower caffeine and lower acid) but it's just soo much easier!!

I just noticed that the tea has peppermint in it which I thought was a no no. Has anyone 4 lose noticed that ? Is there a tea that is better ?

The taste has grown on me so I'm happy to drink it now and any benefits are just a bonus!

    Thanks!
