  I feel for you. My LO is sick for the first time right now too. We almost went to the ER but I know its just a virus so we got ahold of a nurse to go over how to care for her at home.

  Thanks everyone. He seems a bit better after they gave extra Tylenol. He perked up and started playing so that was good to see. Can't find a reason for the fever. They even did a catheter to check his urine. We are headed home already, they upped the dose I can give of Tylenol based on his exact weight and not the range. And just said to keep an eye on him. So he will be sleeping next to me in the pnp tonight. Poor guy just looks exhausted!!

  Fevers with babies are so scary! We had a virus go through not long ago that had everybody around 103. Nerve wracking. Thank goodness for the after hours nurse line.

  So LO is doing much better. After the ER visit and the increased Tylenol dosing his temp stayed under 102 through Sunday, got better Monday and this morning was 97.5! Yea!! Took him to doc yesterday and she guessed it might be Roseola as that has been going around. It presents as a fever for 3-5 days and once that drops a rash appears. That's where we are now, no fever, small red bumps all over. Good news is LO is back to happyville and almost his normal self! Thanks for all of the well wishes!!!
