    I think you can do Disneyland all in one day.

  If you mean Disneyland then, yeah 5 days is more than enough! I have no experience with Disneyworld. You can definitely do Disneyland in a day and you can hit a lot in both parks (Dland and CA) in just one day usually. Spreading the time out is definitely good too, I would imagine!

  Just Disneyland. I know that we don't NEED 5 days but we want to spread it out a bit. Will 5 days be just way too long though? Would 3 days be more reasonable?

  5 days is plenty. It's pretty difficult to do disneyland all in one day IMO. Ideally I say 2-3 days for disneyland, 1 day (2 at most) for CA adventure and a day for swimming. Just saw you aren't planning on CA adventure. Will you have a car? If so, feel free to PM me and I can give you so suggestions of other things to do in the area.

  We haven't been since Nolan was born but the last time we did go, Emily was almost 5 and we spent 5 days between Disneyland and CA Adventure and it was perfect!! We spent 2-5pm at the pool (we stay at Paradise Pier or The Disneyland Hotel) everyday to beat the day time heat then showered, got dressed, drove off-site for dinner and then, returned to the park from 7pm-Closing. It was nice to not cram in the entire park every morning and going during peak times means long wait times. We visit Disneyland often - feel free to PM me about anything!

  @quesarah‌ we actually are planning on doing California adventure - Cars Land is basically the top selling point for us bc DS loves the movie so much!! Haha. 

  I think 3 days at disneyland and 2 at CA with some downtime at the pool will be our plan. 

  Not sure if we'll rent a car or not, but if I do I'll pm you ladies for more ideas!

  Are you staying at a Disney hotel? If so, I highly rec the disneyland hotel or the grand Californian (not a huge fan of paradise pier). The grand is nice but with kids, the pool at the disneyland hotel is far superior to the others.
  
  Also, when you visit cars land you must try the dill pickle popcorn! It's amazing. Also, get in line for fast passes as soon as the park opens because they typically book out in the first hour and the wait is typically 90+ for stand by

  Yeah I think that sounds fine.  Gives you time to visit characters, eat some good meals and go on the rides more than once.

  5 days is perfect! Disneyland has as many or even more rides than Disneyworld, it's just not spread out. We have gone on two trips, each five days and we still have things we want to do. Remember there are great shows, so schedule those in too. They take up time. Aladdin, Mickey and the Magical Map, the parades, Disney Jr. On stage, etc. Have fun!
