Symptoms: Baby is moving around a lot, and he is getting stronger when he kicks, sometimes he startles me. Yesterday he was riding low, it was hard not to waddle, but today he must have shifted, thank goodness!
AW/Appointments: Had my 28 week appt this week. Found out I passed my 1hr glucose test! Score of 110 what ever that means! I was a little anemic when they did the test, so I am suppose to try to get more iron in my diet. I really hope I don't have to go on iron supplements because right now things have been very regular and I don't want to stop up the works!
GTKY: Favorite Thanksgiving Dish? Sausage Stuffing. I can't wait!

Me: 36, DH: 38, Together since: 2006, Married: 9/2011 **TW Living Child**
Symptoms: Leg cramps--OW!! They hurt so bad. I can still feel one from yesterday morning! Peeing has let up. I'm wondering if perhaps LO shifted positions. SO HUNGRY all the time! Back hurts.
AW/Appointments: Starting the every two week appt thing now. I have one a week from Monday. The last appt was really short. Basically just heard the heartbeat and verified that I'm measuring correctly.
Weeks/EED: (Congrats if you've hit 3rd trimester!!!) 28 weeks, Nov 7th
Symptoms: Still have the stuffy nose. Got a new chair at work and it has helped relieve the back pain.
AW/Appointments: Had an appointment on Tuesday and everything checked out great. BP was 110/60, weight gain is on track, iron levels look good, passed my 1 hour GD test and also got my tDAP.
GTKY: Favorite Thanksgiving Dish? I like most of it, but I will have to say the Pumpkin Cheesecake I make. Yum!
Weeks/EED: (Congrats if you've hit 3rd trimester!!!): 27 weeks/Nov. 14
Symptoms: Insomnia and I seem to have developed carpal tunnel. Heartburn comes and goes.
AW/Appointments:I don't have another appointment until the end of the month, but I go for my GD test on Monday. At my last appointment, the OB said that she thought my uterine cyst was stable enough that she doesn't want to perform surgery to remove it until after LO is born, so that took a lot off my mind.
GTKY: Favorite Thanksgiving Dish? All of it, really, but probably my mom's dressing. I've tried to replicate it, even with her there, and it still doesn't taste the same.
Symptoms: She's getting strong! Grow baby girl, grow! Lots of movement, although I think she is facing backwards or something the last 2 days because I'm feeling it less and it is really low. I'm actually slept through the night (with the exception of 1 or 2 pee breaks) THREE nights in a row! I feel like a new woman! I have no complaints this week (its amazing what a little sleep will do ha!)
AW/Appointments: I had an appointment on Monday and all looked good - pretty simple - heartbeat, questions, done. I go back on 9/2 for glucose, sono and 28w appt. I'm scared sh!tless of the glucose test. If I have to give up carbs, my husband and coworkers are in for a world of hurt.
GTKY: Favorite Thanksgiving Dish? MASHED POTATOES with lots gravy 3:-O I've already told all of the fam that someone better bring me some if I'm in the hospital that day! Thanksgiving is the best!
Symptoms: Riund ligament pain comes and goes. Been really tired again lately!
AW/Appointments: failed my 1 hour glucose test and opted to do at home monitoring 4 times a day for 3 weeks instead of going through the 3 hour test. Blood pressure at 28 week appointment has been my best blood pressure yet (was on bed rest for high blood pressure last pregnancy). Feeling baby girl kick all the time!
GTKY: Favorite Thanksgiving Dish? Mashed Potatoes with gravy! And stuffing! And turkey! I love Thanksgiving
Symptoms: SPD is a bitch, though mi just bought a cool rotating seat so I can get in and out the car without crying. My feet have started to swell a little, especially in the heat. She must be facing my back, because her kicks are super faint, which I don't like. We keep having conversations as to whether her physical comfort is more important than my sanity. She and I disagree on this point.
AW/Appointments: GTT on Monday. If that goes well, nothing until September
GTKY: Favorite Thanksgiving Dish? Sweet Potatoes or Pumpkin Pie
Weeks/EED: (Congrats if you've hit 3rd trimester!!!) 28 weeks / November 7th
Symptoms: Have a cold, as if my nose weren't stuffed enough! Sleeping is rough, otherwise more of the same. I'm excited to be in my 3rd tri, ALMOST makes up for the URI.
AW/Appointments: Nothing until the end of the month, then I go biweekly
GTKY: Favorite Thanksgiving Dish? Stuffing, Stuffing, and more Stuffing. I could eat it all year around. I hope I have enough energy to make some this year, otherwise, maybe some of the nice ladies at DH's work will send some over?
Symptoms: Heartburn and nausea is returning (damn you third tri)
AW/Appointments: I have my Glucola test on Wednesday. I'm keeping an open mind and plan to chug that drink like it's a margarita!! We also have our 4d ultrasound on Friday to see little Emmy one last time before she arrives. My OB office offers them after hours.
GTKY: Favorite Thanksgiving Dish? ALL the pumpkin things. Yummmm. And of course mashed potatoes and macaroni with lots of cheese.
ETA: ohhhh I forgot to add. Reason 100203 why I love our ticker change group...the thread was kicked off with an awesome gif. Thanks @DoubleUp8
Hi Ladies! Weeks/EDD: 27 weeks today! Due 11/14 - woo hoo! 3rd trimester!
Symptoms: As my husband so eloquently put it..."Why are your ankles so fat?" grrrrr. So yeah, feet are swelling by the end of the day and the heartburn has been awful. My belly is also just feeling heavier and tighter which is obviously logical, but uncomfortable too.
AW/Appointments: Next appointment isn't until September 2nd and then I'll start going every two weeks. Still debating doing an elective ultrasound between now and then to see our little girl one last time before she's born!
GTKY: Favorite Thanksgiving Dish? I love stuffing!
Symptoms: Some extra heartburn this week and one of the arches in my foot feels super weird and hurts when I bend over. But nothing too crazy.
AW/Appointments: I see my OB for my monthly check-up on Monday and then have an ultrasound the following week to check for growth (thanks to stupid PAPP-A). I'm really excited to see how much LO has grown since we saw her last at 19 weeks.
GTKY: Favorite Thanksgiving Dish? This is SO hard. I'll go with what I would want to eat this very second which would be pumpkin cheesecake. Yummmmm!
Also, Thanksgiving PSA: Pumpkin Spice Lattes are coming back to Starbucks EARLY this year on August 25th. Start getting excited. :-bd
Symptoms: Doing really good except for the occasional bout of tiredness and need of a good nap! Thankful to God for me being well to come to work each day. My relatives live on another island and they are always asking for my son who is 10 months so I get chances to rest of which I'm grateful. My son is a good boy tho sleeps through the night so not much to manage.
AW/Appointments:
As for appointment updates I had a visit today and took the glucose test and man that lemon lime solution was very awful! I passed on the first try! yay I can't believe I passed because I was so sure I would fail like I did with DS. To anyone that hasn't taken theirs as yet I would advise cutting down on the sugars especially for the two weeks before you take the test. I totally ditched the coke and drank more water and gained great results. I plan to keep away from the coke until then end. I also noticed that since I cut down on the soda I didn't really gain any weight this last two weeks so I will have to increase eating in another way. Good luck to those of you who still have to take/retake your GT test!
GTKY: Favorite Thanksgiving Dish? I guess ham and the mashed potatoes. I hate turkey lol
Symptoms: If I don't get in any exercise, I have leg cramps and back pain. So at least I can still do something about it!
AW/Appointments: Seeing the midwife Monday.
GTKY: Favorite Thanksgiving Dish?Uuugh I love Thanksgiving. Sweet potatoes, Turkey and gravy, cranberry sauce... I must teach my South African family about this extremely important tradition!
AW/Appointments: We have a gap in our appointments because of the start of school that we couldn't get all of our schedules together! I am excited to see Squirt in a couple of weeks and then we start every other week! Yeah third trimester!
GTKY: Favorite Thanksgiving Dish? Turkey!

Symptoms: tired-- went to bed before 8 last night, but it could also be bc we started back to school on Wed, and I teach middle school students all day
AW/Appointments: GLucose screening next week. I don't have to drink the nasty stuff, and I'm so excited about it! With my midwives you eat a particular breakfast and they prick your finger-- that's it!! I *hope* I pass so I don't have to do the drink and the 3 hr test!
GTKY: Favorite Thanksgiving Dish? Not a dish, but a topping: Cranberry Ginger Cabernet Sauce. This stuff is UH-mazing! Seriously-- you must try it. We've made it for 2 years now, and we use it on everything! You can even make ahead and freeze! Here's a link to my blog for the recipe: https://www.onesmartcook.blogspot.com/2012/11/cabernet-cranberry-sauce.html?m=1
Also-- for those that mentioned leg cramps and/or headaches: my favorite supplement that I have been taking this whole pregnancy is Natural Calm. It's a wonderful magnesium supplement that has cured my headaches, constipation, and leg cramps (they were AWFUL when I was preg with dd). You can find it at any health foods store. It's totally safe for pregnancy-- they even sell it at the birth center I am using.
For those that mentioned sciatica pain-- get an appointment with a chiropractor stat! I LOVE what the Chiro has done for my body this pregnancy-- the best money I have spent. I had horrible sciatica pain when pregnant with dd, but at the start of any pain this time they took care of it. Look for chiros that are certified in Webster Technique-- it's specifically designed for pregnancy and infants
Weeks/EED: 28 WEEKS! Holy smokes just had a mini panick attack realizing I only have 12 to go :-S Symptoms: Ridiculous amounts of BH contractions, honestly every time I stand up. Blah. My crotch and inner thighs are killing me, so uncomfortable. It feels like I have shin splints down there. Also I am terrified to sneeze or cough too hard in public "> On the plus side, this little guy has been so active! I can see my whole stomach move when he riggles!
AW/Appointments: Glucose test next week! I will be glad to finally get that over with!
GTKY: Favorite Thanksgiving Dish? Stuffing! And potatoes and gravy! Plus my Grandma's homemade buns, corn bake and apple pies! =P~

AW/Appointments: not much to report this week! Feeling lots of kicks and wondering if/when he sleeps!
GTKY: Twice baked potatoes! Bake the potatoes- slice off the tops and scoop out the insides, mix with lots of butter and cream and bacon and onions and re-fill and bake again-- yumm!
Symptoms: Still have the awful lump, trying papaya enzymes. Some heartburn but it tends to pass quickly. Getting harder to bend but otherwise doing okay.
AW/Appointments: Next appointment is the 19th and I'll get to do the one hour test, fingers crossed I pass and then I'm done with needles! Starting to buy more baby stuff since a shower is off the table. Got a super cute baby's first year journal from National Geographic and scored a Ju Ju Be BFF diaper bag in very good used condition for only $90 (instead of new for $165)! And of course a Ragnar Relay onesie to add to the clothes stash
GTKY: Favorite Thanksgiving Dish? Stuffing or Pecan Pie. Probably stuffing
I have my Glucola test on Wednesday. I'm keeping an open mind and plan to chug that drink like it's a margarita!!
ETA: ohhhh I forgot to add. Reason 100203 why I love our ticker change group...the thread was kicked off with an awesome gif. Thanks @DoubleUp8
^^^Connected to this, a tip I got from a STM that I think helps, use a straw to drink the bottle down. Luckily, a skill I haven't lost while not drinking.
Symptoms: The only thing new this week has been hip pain -- especially if I get up wrong. A little more back pain. Oh, and I'm so off balance and awkward it isn't even funny. Bump is getting bigger and is definitely noticed by more people. Like the person who asked me if it was triplets the other day. (I mean, come on dude! Not cool!) I'm including a bump photo since I missed HDBD this week.
AW/Appointments: I have an ultrasound to check cervix and whatnot on Monday.
GTKY: Favorite Thanksgiving Dish? Not a huge fan of Thanksgiving food in general, but I do like stovetop stuffing :-) Pumpkin pie is good...but I don't turn town most kinds of pie.
Symptoms: Same. Sciatica, insomnia, back pain. Nothing too miserable
AW/Appointments: I go 8/3 for my 1hr GD test and 28wk appt, then on 8/9 for a 3/4D ultrasound. Can't wait!
My husband and son are both enjoying feeling baby move. My son hugs & kisses her more than he does me :P.
GTKY: Favorite Thanksgiving Dish? Umm, all the foods? I love my sweet potato casserole w/marshmallows (no nuts), DH's baked mac n cheese, ham, and my mom's pecan pie! Oh, pumpkin pie too.

AW/Appointments: Had my 1 hour glucose test this morning. They called this afternoon, I failed. 3 hour test one day next week. I didn't think the orange drink was that bad. Not something I'd want all the time, but not disgusting. Of course I've had two colonoscopies and that drink is NASTY so this was nothing. Also, my husband has felt the baby kick 3 times now! YAY! It has really made him feel more a part of the pregnancy.
GTKY: Favorite Thanksgiving Dish? Stove Top stuffing
Symptoms: Still having bad back/hip pain. Rolled my ankle and fell onto my hip yesterday which has aggravated it Lots of BH, peeing, and movement! Getting a little sick of people telling me that I look like I'm ready to pop...3 more months people!
AW/Appointments: Had my 28 week appt yesterday. Next one in 2 weeks.
GTKY: Favorite Thanksgiving Dish? I don't think I can choose just one...turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, mom's homemade stuffing, corn, apple pie. Now I am starving! DH and I created a Thanksgiving Dinner Pizza a few years ago which was so delicious. We layered mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, corn, and turkey on a hand tossed pizza dough. It was super delicious!!
AW/Appointments: my ob practice does an immediate 2 hour glucose test. I have 3 weeks to go in and get it done(no appointment needed) which kinda sucks because I know how many "excuses" I'll find to do it later.
GTKY: Favorite Thanksgiving Dish? Rolls, pie(not pumpkin), mashed potatoes, greenbean casserole and baked Mac and cheese. Give me carbs!!!
I miss having ankles and I've never been so hot in my whole life (bring on the fall weather please)
GD test Monday and dermatology is looking at the thing growing on the back of my head that one DR says is baby related and another says she doesn't know what it is.
Oh, all the Thanksgiving food is the best. I can't wait for Thanksgiving dinner and leftovers.
Weeks/EED: (Congrats if you've hit 3rd trimester!!!)
28 weeks!!!! It's flying by!
Symptoms: just tired, pelvic region aches towards the end of the night, boobs feel heavy and hurt but that could be because I give myself multiple breast checks per day .
AW/Appointments: My office did a 2D last week, he was facing my spine and would not look so no face pics, he's also measuring in the 95% for height and weight and he's breech so he's already punished when he comes out.
GTKY: Favorite Thanksgiving Dish?
Mashed potatoes and gravy, and sausage stuffing, and turkey. Yum!!!!
Symptoms: I finally have a bump! It took almost until 3rd tri, but last week was the first time that strangers could tell I was pregnant. Feeling a lot of fatigue since school is starting back and my workload has dramatically increased, but otherwise doing fine!
AW/Appointments: I had my 1 hr. glucose test on Thursday. I won't know the results for a few days, but everything else at the appt. went great. Baby was all hopped up on that sugar drink and kept kicking the doppler as hard as s/he could.
Also, we started our birthing class at the hospital on Monday. I'm enjoying it so far. I really like our hospital.
GTKY: Favorite Thanksgiving Dish? Green bean casserole! My family doesn't eat a lot of traditional Thanksgiving food, but H's family does, and the first time I had green bean casserole was after we were married. I dig it.
Symptoms: Some hip pain after the 5 hour plane trips to and from the Midwest to visit with my family (not to mention having to carry DD in the airports because H had his hands full with the luggage). Baby boy is riding low, and it's getting hard to cross my legs when I sit. I don't remember having this much trouble with early with DD!
AW/Appointments: I go on Wednesday, and will get my 1 hour GT test results then. My OB is very no news is good news, so I'm assuming I passed since no one has told me otherwise. It'll be nice to get the confirmation, though! After this appointment, I start going every 2 weeks.
GTKY: Favorite Thanksgiving Dish? Pumpkin pie with whipped cream. I mainly use the pie as a vehicle for the whipped cream. I also love H's cranberries, and his mashed potatoes. This is the good part of not traveling for Thanksgiving this year--I get H's cooking and not his or my mom's!
Symptoms: starting to feel more tired at night, and occasional leg cramps.
Aw/appointments: ran 20 miles this last week which is the most I've hit in a couple of months. I think this is really helping me still feel like myself despite body changes and baby growth! Passed my GD test a couple of weeks ago.

AW/Appointments: not a lot going on here. Have my next check and 1 hour glucose in 2 weeks.
GTKY: Favorite Thanksgiving Dish? I'm not super hot on Thanksgiving food. I know, it's weird. I'll just say pie :-)
Weeks/EDD: 27 weeks today! Due 11/14 - woo hoo! 3rd trimester!
