anniversary without a sitter

DH and I's 7th anniversary is coming up.

All our sitters are OOT on vacation so I'm trying to think what we can do with the kids.

Any suggestions?

    Our seventh is Monday! We also have no plan yet and no sitter.

    We didn't have a sitter for our anniversary this year (it was right after we moved), so we put the kids to bed a little early then ordered Indian food for ourselves and sat and enjoyed dinner together in peace!

    Normally we dont have a sitter bc we are always on vacation or leaving thr day after. Tomorrow is actuslly our anniversary. We are celebrating today. Going to the beach for thr day.. play in the waves walk around the shops and all thr seafood you can eat!

    We haven't had a sitter for any of anniversaries since DD was born.  We have made early reservations (5pm) as soon as they are open for a really nice steak house.  We all go together.  We go early so DD isn't tired or cranky & not to disturb other diners if she is cranky.  We have never had a problem.  We do eat out often so she knows how she's supposed to act at dinner in public.  Actually the last time we took her a nice steak house we actually got a compliment from an older couple saying how well behaved she was.
