20 Fridays....

A friend just posted that there are only 20 Fridays between now and Christmas! Since I'm too lazy to go count, I'm just going with it and *woah* that means only +/-20 weeks until many of us will have our babies in our arms!

  • @CuppyCakes721‌ what are you talking about? We probably won't need coats! Lol! And honestly, I'm looking forward to it!
  • Well people who live in cold regions will obviously need coats.

  • I'm just ready for winter. Bring on the coats!
Ew, no, maternity coats are SO ugly!!  The one I had to buy my first pregnancy literally looked like a shiny quilted black trash bag.  It is one of the few things the friend I gave my maternity clothes to didn't give back, I'm assuming she gave it to Goodwill, and I would not blame her!  I was not willing to pay $80 for a coat I would wear for about a month, but had to have a coat and already wear XL when not pregnant, so just buying a size or two bigger was not an option.  I bought the cheapest one I could from Old Navy.  Not looking forward to looking for a new one this time.

Try a 1x plus size coat - they are wider so you may have more room to grow.

I'm just planning on wearing my fleece which is what I wore most of last winter and if it gets too tight, I'll go ahead and buy a bigger fleece - I don't mind having large fleeces laying around.

  • The fall always flies by for me, too. So that's pretty crazy - I have a feeling these next 20 weeks are going to go by in the blink of an eye!
  • I'm going to be 39 weeks over Xmas and will be fit to burst! Looking forward to it though!

  • this post makes me want to go find a Christmas apron.

This year I will definitely buy holiday stuff before the 'season' begins, I will definitely admit.

  • I love fall! But I didn't even think about the coat issue! It gets so cold so fast here that I may need both a fall and winter coat...

Who said anything about maternity coats?! Haha I don't want to spend $100+ on a coast specifically for a maternity coat. I'll probably wear a sweater under my normal coat.
  • Wow can't believe it is so close!! Freak out! I barely get into maternity clothes so I will probably fit my old coat...

I did because I'm too f-in' fat to wear my XL coat pregnant, I could hardly zip it last year when I wasn't pregnant!

  • @namcgee‌ I can never zip coats. If I want it to not look like a sac then it won't zip over my chest. Big boobs are a blessing and a curse.
