I am in love with my new kitchen. It came like this, but we put the backsplash in after we moved in. Our house is open concept so I'm going to put this West Elm buffet in the adjacent dining room to play off the backsplash. I'm still in the process of decorating much of our home. ETA-The barstools are from Target.

Those were in there when we bought it, however because I spend hours sourcing furnishings on the internet, I can tell you quite certainly it's from CB2.

My house is unusually messy right now, and it's not the best pic, but I do like our colors in the living room. I took a month to pick out the perfect gray paints when we first moved in and I still love the choice. I make all of our pillows and curtains, so I love decorating (when I have the time or money

)

Here's Jack's Nursery. It's not picture perfect anymore... I know the mobile is fug, but he really responds to it. The shelves are becoming a bit cluttered...
The small pics show some of the subtler details like the textured lamp shade that compliments the same triangle formation on the quilt, and the box print that is reminiscent of the stippling on the wallpaper.

I suck at photographing interiors. Everything always looks small dark and sad in the photos. How do listing agents do it?? I've gone to see houses that looked amazing and then you get there and it's like wah-wah.

We have been working on our kitchen for a month or so now. This is what we have finished so far, minus the backsplash which hasn't gone up yet. We will also eventually be replacing the light fixture too. This is just half the kitchen, there is a peninsula on the other side that's not done yet.

@Dani Okay, stop, your house is too fun! Your kitchen/dining room looks like it would work fabulously for holidays/entertaining. I love the mirror in the nursery. And that staircase comes straight out of my dreams, 8->

@MaiTaiBeth Sweet kitchen! What is the term for sink basins that sit above counter level like the ones in your bathrooms?

@knotty-girl I love all the detail! I have to imagine you took a lot of time accenting the nursery. I'm a huge whore for accent pieces. They make or break a room.

ETA: Thank god for you ladies. I can't talk to DH about stuff like this. He's one of those "let me just cram this painting onto the wall in the corner over here and only eyeball if it's level or not" types. X_X

Looking at everyone's interiors, grey (greige) is the new beige! Love it. All my homes neutrals are shades of grey.

Everyone's homes look great...mine looks like a baby bomb went off andplusalso, even though we are 30, we are still in the "I rent an apt. and furnish from ikea" camp. I like my gallery wall, but it is basically the only decorating I have done, since we weren't planning on hiving here very long...oops.

My ideal look for the future is beach house meets industrial loft.

@mamrotu73‌ you've done an amazing job with your house! And @dani+california‌ I really want that painting in your office! Your brother did that? It's beautiful! Right now I'm obsessed with this artist https://www.huffingtonpost.com/john-seed/rod-penner-rust-on-poles-_b_765249.html#s157182title=Pink_House_with It's hard to believe that these are actually PAINTINGS. Some of these are oddly captivating and I'd love to put a few on a wall and see which one pulls people in. There's always at least one that does.

We moved in about a year ago so it has been a slow process but here are some of the rooms.

First is our kitchen and living room. We have a small house but it's very cozy and perfect for us. The second set of pics is DS's room, then a random picture of the coffee bar I made and then last is DDs room. All done and painted by me!

All of these gorgeous pictures make me want to hurry up and get our house!!! We are moving out of our apartment in atlanta in 3 weeks and moving in with my inlaws in Sarasota. Going to stay there through the holidays and should have our own place after. Can't wait to start decorating. Have so many ideas in my head

This is my former office at my old house. I gave up having an office at the new house since I went FT SAHM and we have other plans for our bonus room. I love my old office though. Our old house was Mediterranean style- gorgeous if you like that kind of thing- but not my style. It was hard to encorporate MCM style so I went more gothic/Hollywood regency.
