I have died every day waiting for you. Darling, don't be afraid, I have loved you for a thousand years. And all along I believed I would find you, time has brought your heart to me. I have loved you for a thousand years. I'll love you a thousand more.

(side note: how do you keep the bigs out of the baby's crib???)
We didn't park in the shade at the gym.
We went to the gym.
Riding ON the car cart at the grocery store is not an option.
Riding UNDER the car cart isn't either.
He asked for leftover chicken for lunch; I gave him leftover chicken. Stupid me.
The dog was in the same room as him.
The dog drank out of his water table.
His hands got cold after eating a freeze pop he begged for.
He had snot running down his face.
Apparently wiping said snot is a cryable offence too.
:-w
The he cried because the dishwasher needed to be unloaded. He and DD do it together always.
He is overly tired and the first full week of school is wearing him out.
She cried when picking the cherry tomatoes out of the garden because I wouldn't let her bite and then throw down every one we picked.
DS just cries when he's hungry and tired.
Because he closed his toy laptop
Because I threw away the bandaid he ripped off his sister
Because I wouldn't let him lick my leg.
Kids are weird.
I'm not new. I just hate The Bump.
Because socks are hard to put on.
DS2 because he saw a cat. Seriously, he was terrified. It was weird.
Today he cried because he wanted to ride in Daddy's blue car which was at Daddy's work.
And because he pulled a piece of hair out of my head and I couldn't "fix it."
And because he rolled a crayon under the couch and couldn't get it out.
And because me singing 5 songs every night is not enough and I need to sing an extra two songs. He cries about that nightly. 2.5 is hard.
...Mom took the DVD's away (car player) because he couldn't play nice with Sissy and was using it as a weapon on said sister...
...Mommy do dat
...Daddy do dat!
... I opened up his diaper to change him... (he had a boil drained on Saturday & Sunday - which I've never heard the kid cry THAT hard!)
... he needed to take his antibiotic (for said boil)
Because I won't let her run out into the front yard by herself in only a diaper and flip flops.
Because her friend lives far away.
Because the gym was closed.
Because I only gave her half of the container of Play-Doh.
Because I put her hair in one ponytail instead of two.
Because she didn't want to take a shower. Then she didn't want to get out of the shower.
It's been a rough week.
Once it was drained the second time it started healing up to the point that now it's just a little scab.. Now it's just a matter of finishing the round of antibiotics because the culture came back as MRSA (will this kid EVER catch a break?!?!) and they changed the Rx to one that my Dad & I are allergic to so need to keep an extra close eye on him..
Today's "why is he crying" - because I took his jammies off to set him on the potty...
seriously..
because I won't let her drive
because her blanket doesn't cover her toes
because Diego won't answer her
because DH didn't let her hold her spoon with cereal this morning
because I won't give her the hair tie in my hair (she has 4 of them from my drawer)
because it's lightening and we can't go swim
because I said nap time.
She then cried because I took away her cheese when she said she was all done.
Cried some more for more food and then proceeded to eat a whole orange.
Then cried legit tears this morning when I asked her if she wanted to take a bath, she said no, and I gave her one anyways.
Life as a toddler is hard /:)
Today he is crying because Simba changed from an adorable cub to an adolescent lion. He's watching the Lion King. He's watched it before. We have this issue every time...
Troy
Because Griffin is always "in my boobies"
because he has to wear clothes to target.
Because "nanny let's me have daddy's juice" (I'm gonna hhave to talk to my mil)
because it's hot out
because I wouldn't give him more finger paint after he painted the house blue/yellow/green
because daddy let's him paint on the walls.
Anyone else see a pattern? Apparently everyone else let's him do things.
Edit for autocorrect
Yesterday they had a checkup and cried almost the entire time....bc....
They had to stand on a scale
They got their heads measured
The np wanted to look in their ears
She also put a stethoscope on them
Ironically they didn't cry that much for their shots....they got over those faster than the blasted tape-measure!
Not my proudest mommy moment.. But I used to steal my mom's wine and down it like it was nothing when I was 4ish.. So I guess the apple doesn't fall far from the pear tree.
because we had to be out of the house early
because he wanted candy at 10am at the gasstation
because mommy's therapist didn't have any good toys (there is literally a storage room FULL of toys for the kids in therapy. One of the social workers there was nice enough to take him to go find one to play with while I had my session)
because he wanted McDonald's for lunch
because he saw this episode of mickey mouse yesterday
because I asked him if he had to use the potty
because he doesn't have a horse (I thought it was only little girls who want ponies?)
because he can't sit in the front seat of the car.
Because Griffin is "noisy"
