snuza?????

LO has decided she likes to roll over and sleep on her belly. Freaks me out to no end. I may never sleep again. Do I go out and buy the snuza/ angel care monitor??

    I use the snuza on my twins. I absolutely love it. When they were small (6lbs) it fell off a lot and I had false alarms but I sleep so much better knowing it is there. Now that they are bigger they work great. My baby girl is a side sleeper and mover and it stays on just fine. I'm pretty sure I have witnessed it working too. One night I was changing my baby boy and I heard my girls vibrate. Then she took in a huge breath. The only negative I have found is that if they are in a swing it does not work since it picks up the movement of the swing. Not sure what negatives are out there about it. I wasn't able to sleep until I got them.

    Also buy buy baby sells them and they will price match amazon (I got mine for $80)

    I'm obsessed with the snuza. I couldn't sleep until I got it. I highly recommend it...the reviews on amazon are what got me!

    I'm not sure how well it would work on a belly-sleeper or a baby who rolls around a lot.  We had to stop using it on C when he started moving around a lot at night. He's still not rolling over completely, but he rolls enough that it dislodges the snuza and makes it fall off.  Once it's off, that's when you get your false alarms (which are TERRIFYING).

    One tip I have is I use a larger size up diaper for sleep (my twins sleep 8-10 hours at night) the snuza usually does not fall off. My baby girl is a side sleeper and does 360s throughout the night.

    I vote angel care for a belly sleeper, I don't think the snuza would work well when the baby is on her stomach since it's pretty bulky and clips to her diaper over the tummy. We used it on dd when she slept in her rock n play and now we use the angel care since she's on a flat surface in her crib.
