Ok, so I go to a pool party in an hour. When I come back I'm going to be very very tipsy and will be attempting at some seriously emotional and some very hilarious responses (along with more than usual typos).
So I suggest you get your drink on too and really ask me ANYTHING. Like anything you've been wondering, thinking about or assuming about me but were not sure. No really, just about anything!
Did I say anything already? Yeah anything... Let it flow f14!
Re: Are you drunk enough for this? (Hg45 AMA)
Favorite Disney movie and why?
Most embarrassing moment?
Most embarrassing thing you do regularly/often? (Like picking your lady bits in line at the mechanics.)
My all time favorite Disney movie is 'The Jungle Book'. A dancing bear at your disposal? That's awesome! Plus he grew up with wolves and his mortal enemy was a tiger. I mean, as a child I just could not imagine a more exciting life. Plus I think it's because of jungle book particularly drove my mother insane one summer because I would only speak like Kaa and start anything I say and end with s s s s.
Most embarrassing moment: I was trying to impress this guy when I was 14 or something. We were flirting by the pool, he pulled me in. I had gotten my period and was wearing a pad. The pool was red. The kids all ran out. The whole Boy Scouts group now knew my cycle and actually started to lay bets on it. Those boys were mean! I wanted to never leave my tent. Next day I just decided to go tell them off. I walked up to them, loudly proclaimed that none of them would have been born if it weren't for their mothers periods so they should be thankful for it. Needless to say it created even more laughter and embarrassment! That was my last Girl Scouts camping trip ever!
Most embarrassing thing I do: I have morning thunder. I get up, go to the bathroom and let it all out. Best feeling in the world until one day DH told me he could hear me fart in the mornings. I mean these not small pffs lady like ones. These are hard core! Yeah that day romance died a little but in our marriage.
Worst date ever: ok ready for this? I once went out with a guy who brought his mom along for the date! We met through a local community event. He asked if I wanted to hang out Sunday. I show up at our meeting place just to see him with his mom. At first I thought she may have been his ride or something. I did not have a ride back as my cousin had dropped me off. He was my ride home as the place we were at had no public transport to my house. We were at a seasonal fair that's usually put up on grounds in the middle of no where. Anyways, he told me Sundays he spends with his mom as he wants any girl he will date to be okay with that. Plus how I interact with his mom will be an indicator of if he would think I'm worthy of dating in the future. I could have walked away but was stuck so I decided to have a blast. I told inappropriate jokes, paid for nothing, ordered the most expensive things on the menu and told him I hated children because I had mom issues and hates mothers. His mother is right there through all this. She tried to ask me questions but I pretended like she was not there. She kept saying nasty things about me in a local language which she thought I did not understand but I did. Seriously! Who does that?!
There was an 80s style Ferris wheel at the fair. Picture this, him, his mom in the middle and me stuck on top. I told him it was the perfect kissing and boob touching moment. His mother was livid so was he but I know secretly he wanted it so bad. He is still single, still living with his mom and god I hope he is getting some therapy. They still see me occasionally at social events when I am in India and gosh the stares are blinding!
@JA82406 lame but no glass allowed in here. All we have is beer! Will that do? I'll take a pic as soon as get my hands on one.
And your worst date story was hilarious.
Spoon boy: Do not try and bend the spoon. That's impossible. Instead... only try to realize the truth.
Neo: What truth?
Spoon boy: There is no spoon.
Neo: There is no spoon?
Spoon boy: Then you'll see, that it is not the spoon that bends, it is only yourself__________________________________________________________________________
Morpheus: Neo, sooner or later you're going to realize just as I did that there's a difference between knowing the path and walking the path.
Since it is summer, it would be a summer cocktail. I would get some champagne, crush some raspberries, strawberries and blueberries in it. Add a dash of ginger and lemon and infuse it with sugar syrup and some watermelon vodka. It's a drunken fruit orgy in your mouth! Oh and top it off with mint leaves for a fresh finish.
What's your favorite thing about NY? (I think that's where you live)
Favorite thing about NY is New York! It truly is a city that never sleeps. I can find anything I want at any time. I can get a fancy dinner or street food at 2 am. Plus, I feel it's a perfect city to be close to everything, the ocean is close, the mountains are close if you want to ski, it has crazy summers and cold winters and fall fashion is the best in NY! Plus not to get all melo and all but I truly did find love here- I found DH here- he swept me off my feet all very sex and city style.
What are your favorite flowers to have in a vase?
Orchids, Lilacs and Roses. I also love blue bells but they are hard to get into a vase as they are creepers
What are your favorite things about your husband? What traits do you want LO to inherit from you? From your H?
1. He is a self made man. He had a very shitty parenting. His father is the most selfish man I have ever met. He did not let any of that get in his way. He just believes he can and moves on.
2. The dude can dance! I mean hello sexy! He's Channing Tatum meets bollywood on hotwheels cause he is buff too ;-)
I want LO to have the ethusiasm and sprit I have about life- to be bold and not worry about whats ifs. I have taken some very bold steps in my life and it has thaught me a ton. I want him to have the same curiosity and dare devil attitude. From my H, all the things I said above plus his hair. My H has some seriously thick hair like Fabio!
Would you rather live in a small apartment with your MIL or not be able to shop for a year?
LOL- If you knew me you would not ask this question..I cannot live without shopping. I just like to possess things especially make up and hand bags and jewlry and perfume and stuff. I can deal with MIL. Now on the other hand if you said your mother, then I would jhave to think about that a little bit!
It's public pool. In fact the only free public pool in Manhattan I think. It pretty neat though for a public pool. My friend is just throwing a 'park' party by the pool. Its not as fancy as it sounds. We only have beer. I was expecting more. I am not driking vintage wine from France at my kitchen while I cook some seriously spice infused mutton!
What are your favorite pizza toppings?
I just discovered this at a local pizza place. Artichokes, roasted garlic, meatballs and extra cheese! It is delish.
What misconceptions do people have about you?
That I am very rude and impatient. I am actually very to the face about how I feel. I don't like to sugar coat stuff. Actually the only place I sugar coat sometimes is F14. say whaa? I am only impatient when people are idiots.
What kind of purse do you carry?
"A Purse" hell no my friend, I am a carrier of many lovely pieces of art (not purses). I recently acquired a red Dior on a secret sale which is just hot cakes. And DH gifted me a LV wallet for our anniversary which is the most beautiful thing since slice bread. Pictures can be provided upon request.
Do you read the news or watch the news?
Both. I like to watch news-like programs like 60 minutes, 20 -20 etc but I typically like to read as I don't have the patience to hear them say the same things again and again before they provide any new information.
I typically read three to four books at a time. Not that, I am a great reader but because I am a moody reader. I will typically have a non-sensical read to just kill time or fall asleep, a self help book and a pop fiction type of book. Right now I have the Ferber book and a book about reading body language and for fun I am reading a blog from this person who is rewriting 50 shades of grey from Christian Greys perspective. It's pretty entertaining in an annoying kind of way
What's your least favorite bug?
I assume you really meant bug? Caterpillar? is that even considered a bug? or maybe mosquito? I am pretty sure you meant something else now..*goes to get more wine*
Favorite color? Swingline
Red. No I don't own a swingline. I like the copy machines that directly produce copies that are stapled. I believe in 100% automation
What color is your mixer?
I don't have a mixer but I do own a black vita-mix
The day I left home (as in India). I think it was the best decision ever!!!
Your love story?
Big city, meet an amazing hot sexy guy, I fall head over heels. He dumps me as he is not ready to commit. My heart is broken. He realizes he is a fool and comes after me. Proposes in the NY subway. We elope the next day and get married at the NY court. No one knows within the family till date that we were already married when we introduced each other to our parents.
Favorite kama sutra pose? (is it called a pose? position maybe?)
The mirror of pleasure. I always climax on this one no matter how not ready I am.
https://www.kamasutra.ms/en/28/mirror-of-pleasure/
Hey- this should be a poll!! Who is going to post it?
Left or right handed? Right
If we had your handwriting analyzed, what do you think it would say about you?
I like materialistic things and am proud to possess them. I am money minded and have a very large ego (cause my capitals are huge). I however value those I love and an fiercely loyal.
Enjoy! It's pretty cheesy!
Favorite beer: Corona and anything for Germany.
Best song for dance party: Ah Macarena. No matter what kind of party, people will get up and move. Kids, old people, grown ups.
Neither! My heart belongs to Take That. My teenage dream was to be a Robbie Williams groupie.
Fav food in general: Steak!
Yep! I loved that we saved the money and went on a long trip all over Europe. Plus we are not very fond of many of our relatives.
Also we are neighbors by about 20 miles- we live up in white plains but are moving soon. Bummer!
What's your favorite place in the city?
What about in the suburbs ?
I love the west village. Love the small town homes and small boutiques. Also the village has like the best restaurants. I also love the UES a lot.
Something f14 would be shocked to know: I once was in a music video. Very Robin Sparkles of me!
Free day and $100: Go bar hopping in NYC! Also go see some art galleries that charge money for entry.
I am a Leo per western astrology but per Indian Astrology I am an Aquarian. The calculations are different. I am agnostic about astrology. I will listen to it out if curiosity or for guidance but won't let it dictate me decisions.
My Boxer who is no more was called Cocoa.
I live in a Condo
Fav purchase for LO would be the savings I put aside every month for his college fund.
Fav gift to DH would be this really cool watch winder I gave him. He loves watches so it just brought a great smile to his face when he saw it.
So who would like to go next?
Of course! Go for it!
