Hi all,

On Monday I went in for my first ultrasound (8 weeks) and discovered there was no heartbeat, the baby measuring at 6w1d. I'd started bleeding the night before so I thought I was mentally prepared for bad news but really wasn't. We hadn't been actively trying but were so excited nonetheless - this was our first baby. Fiance and I are getting married in December and will try again after that. I can't bear the thought of potentially going through it again before the wedding.

I don't have much to say except that my heart hurts more than I ever thought possible. It's hard that everyone else around you seems to be able to move on so quickly. I know it's only natural - it was my baby, not theirs, and I know they do mean well with their condolences. Anyways, my thoughts and prayers are with you all, whether your loss is new or long in the past.

I'm sorry for your loss. I was due in March as well, and stated miscarrying July 31.

So sorry to hear! Mine started this past week too. I know what you mean about people moving on so quickly even husbands. Mine is already excited about trying again and I haven't even finished miscarrying yet.

I know what you mean @mrsmustard12 - as great as my fiancé (I hate that word by the way, haha) has been, he's already talking about the next one. Just not ready to even think about it yet!
