  We are about to renovate our bathroom (guest/powder) and I'm sneaking in some new bedding for the guest bedroom into the budget.  My husband likes to pace things but I just want it all done   I figure once the big credit card bills start coming in (which we pay off each month) he just won't notice.

  A coworker printed a huge pirate themed toddler workbook and left it on the printer (it's full color).  She works from home Fri and Mon.

  @marlasinger& take it. She can reprint it. How would she know that someone didn't just throw it into recycling...where it will most likely end up by the end of the day if you don't take it.

  
  

  I mean unless your office etiquette is to put something on someones desk if they print and don't take.

  I am spending way to much time trying to figure out what to wear for my sons first birthday this weekend. I also think my body is something that it isn't so I am not even looking at clothes that will actually look good on me.

  I'm staying with my MIL while DH is deployed. She is crazy super woman that is always cleaning and is great with the kids. I feel like a husband in the 50s with a wife doing all the cleaning and taking care of the kids (I do at least cook) while I work. It is going to be a big adjustment when DH gets back and I have to do laundry and generally stop being a slacker. I also do feel slightly guilty about all this.

  The 40 hours I work are seriously my 40-hour break from my "real job." I don't know what I'd do without it. I surf the internet, do my shopping, pay my bills, take care of other "administrative" type family duties, google random stuff, get my workouts in, and often catch up with friends and family in the evenings. I've even been known to clip my fingernails and toenails (in the privacy of my own office). I brew myself a pot of coffee every evening which I get all to myself, and I watch reruns on youtube and wherever else I can find them while I pump. I have booties that I wear all day in my office until 7pm when my building is deserted, and then I wear them everywhere. Oh, and I shower here after I workout. I'm telling you - it's home away from home and I would not be sane if I didn't get my 40-hour break in every week.

  I get so much more done here than at home.  I paint my nails weekly.  I justify it that it doesn't impair my typing and takes less than a smoke break. 

  
  

  I also brew iced tea at my desk every other day.  And have aromatherapy going.  It's a motherfucking spa up in here.

  I work a half day on Fridays due to childcare and I only showed up for 1.5 hours today before I left. I blame it on the Mexican restaurant that my daughter wanted to go to for breakfast. They took forever!
