My DH keeps giving me crap everytime I multitask while feeding LO. "You have this small baby attached to your boob and you just go on with your business!"

Ha! I can't be the only one doing this.. I mean, we can't be strapped to the couch alllll day! So far today I'm guilty of eating breakfast, putting on makeup, and paying bills. Make me feel like this is normal!

    Today, while nursing, I napped.

    Unless I'm lying down I have to support my breast with one hand. Makes it hard to do anything else except eat.

    So far I've eaten, pumped the other boob, cut coupons, read a book, paid bills, and shopped online while nursing. Not all in one day though.

    Married 07/2012
    DD born 07/2014
    DD2 born 10/2018
    DS born 10/2022

    IF history:
    TTC #2 since January 2016
    June-Aug 2017: 3 IUIs w/Clomid = BFN
    Sept 2017: Dx w/Endometriosis
    Oct 2017: IUI w/Letrozole = BFN
    Nov 2017: IUI w/Letrozole = BFN
    Dec 2017: pre-IVF testing
    Jan-Feb 2018: IVF--17 eggs retrieved, 13 fertilized, 9 frozen and 1 transferred on 2/10 = BFP on 2/19!!! EDD 10/29/2018
    FET Oct 2021: BFP on 10/31! MC at 5 weeks
    FET Feb 2022: BFP on 2/15! EDD 10/29/22

    So far mostly eating but also brushing DD1's hair, pumping and working (I do transcription so it's just one handed typing)

    DD doesn't nurse for more than 10-15 min a side, and more often than not, 1 side seems to be enough for her.  I don't have enough time to do anything else but read.  Nursing is my break time to read.  I do all that other stuff when she isn't on the boob.

    @cko521 what is this "right spot"??? It may sound like I'm joking, but I've never heard of that and would LOVE to slow the flow a little during my letdown!!

    Not a whole lot today besides read books to my boys and play on my phone. I also am more comfortable supporting my boob with a hand so that leaves me one handed.

    This 100%. I've had deliveries almost every day this week. My dog knows the delivery guy and doesn't even freak out when he shows up any more.

    Bump, eat, phone stuff, cooking (once what a pita!), sleep, playing w/ ds1 on his swing set/fort...endure bfing baby in front and randy husband in back- no he doesn't get any if there is a baby on my boob...and it only happens so I can stay in bed, eyes closed,  a few minutes longer- I can block out EVERYONE!!

    But yeah, mostly it's a great excuse to not do things!

    Bump, drink tea/coffee, eat breakfast/lunch, but all the things on Amazon & Zulily (like PP said- too funny), and walk across the house to tell my husband in the shower that I thought someone was here because I heard car doors. Should have answered the door with baby on boob.

    Eat, feed DS, get DS out of his high chair, paid bills, made phone calls, folded laundry, shucked corn, picked tomatoes, bumped, watched tv, pretty much everything I usually do. I mastered one handed work last year while I was attached to a sling after my shoulder surgery.

    this is me too. Amazon Prime is just about the most important baby purchase I ever made.
