LO is a preemie and only weighs about 4 lbs right now (4 lbs 9 ozs on monday). Since the family found out we have a preemie they went out and bought so many preemie disposable diapers so there was no real need to buy preemie cloth...
i have ALL the regrets! The pampers are ok, no explosions and they fit her pretty decently however...huggies OMG i hate huggies and of coarse that's what we have the most of. She has exploded out of 2 of them in one day! Not only that but she's almost grown out of them.
I can't wait until she fits her newborn stash. I tried a few on her and the only one that seems to fit is the blueberry but it's giant on her. I could also make a prefold and cover work but again...giant. booooooo

FI big deal is that his parents did something nice and we should accept it. I appreciate the gesture and thought we just don't need that many diapers.
as a side note I put on a bamboo prefold. It looks like it may fit without being to giant...i can't make the snappi grip it though.
