  • I had the Skip Hop Duo Double but I sold it on ebay. It was never big enough for us. It was always overflowing or I had to pack a second bag.

I ended up ordering a large LLBean tote bag with a zipper top. It has been perfect.
  • I plan on getting a backpack. I figure my hands will be full so one less thing to carry in my hands.

  • I have a couple different ones. I have a cross body messenger bag for everyday. It's more than adequate even w a couple sippy cups thrown in there.

I also have a 31 bag that holds the ergos and is for longer trips where I might need a change of clothes or some toys.

As long as it has a lot of compartments, I don't get hung up on it being labeled a diaper bag.

I have the JuJuBe BFF. It's a convertible messenger/backpack, which was my top priority. I also wanted a lot of space (obvi) but something that was not overly huge and cumbersome.

At first I thought it was way too small for all the stuff we needed to carry for twins. But now that I've gotten more efficient at packing, it's the perfect size for every day. It wouldn't be big enough for overnight, but that's not really an issue for us. There are a good amount if compartments, but I'm admittedly bad at using them. I just kinda throw everything in there and fish around when I need something. That's my issue though. I do make good use of the outer smaller pockets though so I can quickly access my stuff.

I predominately use it as a backpack. Very comfortable, straps are awesome. I could wear it all day. My one complaint about the straps is that they get in the way when I try to access the back pocket, which is where the changing pad and wipes are kept. So it can be awkward getting those things in and out of the bag. Not really a huge deal.

I looked at the PPB boxy backpack and didn't like it for the stiffness of the bag and the thinness/lack of padding of the backpack straps. It felt huge on my back.

I went through a few bags with DS1 trying to find the right one. Never really did. I'm happy with the BFF and don't see myself switching bags at all. The patterns they offer are super cute too!

ETA: My biggest gripe was the cost! I'm not one to spend that kind of money on something like this, but I considered it an investment.

  • I am going with a back pack diaper bag- I really want to be hands free.  Also since I will need my husband to carry it and I am having boys I am ok with something that is not cutesy....

I think we are going with one of these  https://www.dadgear.com/gear/all/1/Backpack

  • I got a black backpack from One step ahead.  It was way easier to have something on my back since the babies came home on monitors so we already had that slung over a shoulder.

  • I've got the JuJuBe Be Prepared. Used the BFF with my singleton and loved it. So far I like the Be Prepared. It's big, but that's what I need with 3u2! I do wish it had a backpack option though.

  • I'm a big Ju Ju Be fan.  I had the BFF and then downsized to the Hobobe with my singleton.  I cloth diaper, so I got the Be Prepared and a BRB to try out with 3 kids in cloth diapers.  I also have a super be for each kid, and I feel like I might end up using one of those more than the Be Prepared and get a sold separately messenger strap for one of them.  I haven't left the house with all three kids at the same time yet, so we will see.  Yeah...I like my Ju ju be bags.  I love how they are all machine washable.  There is a good Facebook BST page if you want to get a decent deal on a used bag.

  • Another JuJuBe fan here! Had the bff for about a year but it ended up not being big enough (overpacker) and I didn't think it was comfortable as a backpack. I now have the be right back and love it! Comfy and holds more than the bff. If I pack light the bag still doesn'took too big.

  • +1 on the backpack. Mine is from Target and was only $40 or so.

  • @cls78‌ I got the hobo in one of the glazed fabrics. I love it. It's got a lot of pockets and big enough. I was torn between that and the weekender but I'm happy with my choice! Plus the glazed fabric is very durable.
  • When we thought we were only having a singleton I bought the Vera Bradley campus backpack because I loved all it's compartments and pockets. I was afraid it would be too big but I loved it and bought it anyway. Fast forward a few months and we discovered we were having twins and now I think the backpack will be perfect, LOL.
  • I bought the skip hop duo double bag and have it prepped already!  I then registered for a backpack style one from Babies R Us for my husband.   :)
