Lets talk sweet potatoes

My LO LOVED them when we started real food. But now that we're past purees and mashes, I always forget about them. What's your favorite way to cook them for your LO?!?! Share please

    I typically just bake them in the oven, sometimes with a sprinkle of brown sugar and a little butter.

    I also bake in oven and mash up with lots kf butter. I like to do sweet potato French fries too.

    Bake in oven and cut into cubes. No butter or sugar necessary!! Sweet potato and black bean enchiladas are delicious too. I use the recipe from Weelicious and add a few more things.

    I'm with MKC... I bake them, then cut into cubes. Sometimes I sprinkle a little cinnamon. No sugar.

    I like my sweet potatoes savory, not sweet -- so I bake them like a normal potato, with olive oil on the outside and a sprinkling of coarse kosher salt... and then eat with butter.  Or I make them into fries (toss with EVOO and salt, garlic salt, whatever), or mash them with a little half and half and garlic and other seasoning. 

    Alas, DH hates sweet potatoes, so I haven't made them in ages...

    I usually cut them in cubes, toss them in olive oil, salt and pepper and spices (usually curry powder) and bake them. I'm the one that doesn't really like them in our family but Esther loves them and they're so good for you.

    The thought of sugar and cinnamon...no thanks.

    Anyone who doesn't like sweet potato casserole is pretty much dead to me. It entails butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and pecans. OMGSODELISH.

    No marshmallows. Are they even made out of food?
