Anyone use an Ergo 360?

I have a Bjorn that I use now to wear LO. She won't face toward me and she loves to be worn facing out. The problem is that she's getting so big that it hurts my back and shoulders to use the Bjorn. I'd like to keep wearing her because sometimes that's the only way I can calm her down. And I'm worried with facing her out and hip problems. Has anyone tried the Ergo 360, or can anyone recommend a carrier that will allow for outward facing that doesn't hurt the back or shoulders? Cheap options would be great too since the 360 costs so much.

  • I have the 360 and love it. LO is very comfy in it and I'm not bad either though he's almost 20 lbs so I prefer if my DH wears it when possible ha ha but I definitely still can!

  • @RedSoxGirl10‌ can you face LO out without it killing your back and shoulders?
  • @KatyBriggs‌ I was thinking wearing LO on my back is what's going to have to start happening. I may start losing a lot of hair though because M thinks it's hilarious to pull it.
  • I have the 360. I don't find her facing forward is a whole lot harder on my back than inward. I love it, and DD seems to as well. (She's about 21 lbs)

  • I do face LO out... he really dislikes facing me these days ha ha. I have never tried going longer than 45 minutes or so but I was fine for that amount of time. I also agree that it's pretty much the same as him facing inward on the 360. The back is more comfortable but like others have said I personally can't do it myself- I know people do though :)

  • I often do a side carry or back carry in my structured carrier(lillebaby). I find back caring to be easier on me then FF, and side carry to be some where in the middle. I really like side carrying because she can still see all around, but can we still get plenty of eye contact.

I learnt how to put her in the back over the bed, so she wouldn't get anywhere. It went like connect around hips/waist, place baby on hip(arm behind her), slide/giggle her to the center of the back, with each arm reaching behind while leaning forward a bit. With one hand on her, use the other hand through the strap, and adjust. Reverse hands for 2nd strap. Adjust seat/back rest till everyone is good and finish snapping yourself in. After a few tries, it will feel natural and take a minute to do.
