Really Nanny?!?

Last night, ten hours before the new nanny was suppose to start I get the following message: "I hate to tell you this, but I just found out that I won't be able to be your nanny ): " She later told me that she found someone that was paying her more. (btw she set her own price for us) UGH what is wrong with people these days?!?!? Clearly I am glad that she showed her true colors before I let her watch my son, but now I am in a bind. She seemed so great all the times I met with her and talked to her.

Anyway, does anyone have a recommendation on where to find a nanny? We recently moved to a new state, don't have any agencies where I live, and my church doesn't have anyone they can think of.
