  • I am working on doing well.  I struggle with events.  This week we had DH's company picnic, a b-day party and tonight DH & I are going out.  Each night we will eat poorly.  I try to remind myself to just eat the best I can during the day to counteract the evening cheats.

  • I'm almost at my first goal of 15lbs.  Sticking to my whole30 diet.  It's a struggle at times like when grocery shopping or when out and about and I'm hungry.

    Oh how i miss coffee creamer.  I think after 30 days it's the only thing I plan to add back in.  Coffee is my friend and drinking it black is just not good.  I tried coconut milk and it was worse.  So now I'm adding a splash of vanilla and it least I can get it down.

  • The good: I've been home for two days and I'm right back on track. I've kept within my calories, I've been drinking lots of water, and I'm hitting my step goal (10k) each day.
    The bad: Four days away, eating off my diet and not exercising caused a 2.8 pound gain.
    The ugly: That number actually went up today, despite my past two days of being good.
    I just gotta keep on keepin' on...and I will.

    This has been a bit of a crummy week. I got sick on the weekend and missed 2 workouts. I made one of them up the next day but I'm not pushing myself to the max bc I feel so congested and tired. Last night my knee started hurting during my strength workout after my run so I stopped. Overall it's just been a bit discouraging.

     
    As far as my weight goes things are going pretty well. I'm 3lbs away from my first goal which I was hoping to achieve before dh and I go away for our anniversary. We leave on Wednesday so I still have a bit of time but I doubt I'll be down the full 3lbs.

  • Still maintaining, yay. I'm back to doing a quick workout every day. I posted on Monday how down I felt and that I couldn't sleep. I feel so much better! The workouts get me over that afternoon sleepy hump and im sleeping better at night. I'm not dragging around and getting short with the kids (as much). So I guess the workouts are here to stay.

  • I've run 3 miles everyday this week then come home and do 15-20 minutes of HIIT/weights.

    Last night I was starving at 8:30 so I had popcorn and beef jerky-- oops. Really trying to NOT eat past 8. I suck at self-control.

    I've been craving a Pepsi for the past 2 days. Not sure why.

    I've been really into deli sandwiches too! I put them on a spinach wrap and press it in between 2 of our cast iron skillets-- ever roast turkey, tavern ham, and pastrami with pickles, tomatoes, spinach and swiss cheese-- seriously I'm obsessed. I am about to make one for lunch!!!!



  • My trainer was actually disappointed yesterday that I don't weigh in until next week because she's excited to see where I am. Now that I've built up a little muscle, the pounds are starting to come off.

    @zbeesma86‌ Try turkey, spinach, tomato, goat cheese or Gorgonzola, and pesto. You can thank me later. ;)
