  • My baby A was always breech and baby B moved a little but pretty much stayed breech as well. However, my doctor did say she had never seen a baby(ies) so comfortable in one spot. She said normally one would have turned

  • I'm really curious about this too! Mine have both been breech (A) and transverse (B) for weeks. They assure me they can flip to the very end but you wonder how they have room to, lol! I hate not knowing how I'm going to deliver and it sounds like I probably won't know until it's time.
  • A flipped breech at 19w and stayed that way. B flipped every couple of weeks until the end. He was breech at 29w or so and vertex at 32w.

My water broke at 34w. A's cord prolapsed and I had an emergency c/s under general anesthesia. I have no idea was position B was at when he was born.

  • At 35w, they were head up and down, at 36w, they were both head down. The morning of my section, Baby B had flipped back to breech! The little buggers were moving like crazy!

  • I'm another SS. A was breech and B transverse around 30 weeks. I had moxibustion done to try to get them to flip so I could try a natural birth. I ended up with an emergency c/s anyway and the medical records show they were both head down. My guess is A flipped due to the moxibustion and then when he was born B moved head down.

  • Baby b was a mover, but a was always head down. By delivery b had moved into a head down position, too, but I ended up csection anyway. :/

  • I haven't had mine yet, but A has been beech the entire time. However at my scan on Monday (at 31w4d) B went from breech to vertex right in the middle of the scan. It hurt like hell but was totes cool to see! So I imagine A may flip, but he also may not.

  • My duo went breech in the late 20's and were still breech at birth at 38 weeks.

Same, except A was breech (turned from head down) and B was transverse.

    Baby Boy #1 born 1/15/2010

    Babies #2 & #3 arriving Spring 2014 (EDD June 18)

  • Mine both flipped from head down @25w to breech @29w and stayed that way until I delivered at 35w.
  • Mine stayed the same from about 20 weeks until delivery at 34 weeks.  Baby A was head down and Baby B was breach.

We chose to deliver naturally (after many discussions and encouragement from my MFM) and Baby B was pulled out by his feet 5 minutes after Baby A was born.  It was a great decision for us and I had an amazingly quick recovery!

  • @PinkinProvence‌ Were you nervous at all about the breech delivery of baby B? Anymore details or info on how it went? My OB is encouraging me to do a vaginal if A is head down. He said it's quite common to do a breech delivery of B but I still can't wrap my head around it, lol. Just curious. I'm glad you had a great experience! That eases my mind.
  • Baby A has been head down my entire pregnancy. Baby B was breech until she flipped head down at 34 weeks. I am 36 weeks now and hoping that both stay head down!
  • @12bailey18, it was the best decision we ever made.  We had talked about it for weeks with the doctor, and I think DH and I had decided that we would just have the C-section because it sounded easier and is definitely less risky.  However, my water broke unexpectedly at 34 weeks, and when we go to the hospital, we were wishy washy on our decision. Then I realized that if I opted for the C-section, the babes would be there within a few short hours and I realized I wasn't ready yet!  We decided to try for the vaginal delivery.  My labor was wonderful (about 14 hours) and the babies did beautifully throughout.

We were definitely nervous but decided to do it for several reasons
    (1) I was a top hospital with a top MFM who had done it many times before
    (2) I delivered in an OR with an epidural and it could have been converted to a stat C-section in minutes
    (3) I was only 34 weeks so we knew Baby B would be strong enough to handle it well but small enough to fit (it was estimated it at my US earlier that day that he was 5 lbs, but he was actually 4 lbs 5 ozs.)

Baby A was delivered at 10:52 am after about 30 minutes of practice pushing and 30 minutes of pushing in the delivery room.  Then they immediately broke Baby B's water.  I got nervous for a minute because I did feel his shoulder.  It was a weird sensation but did not hurt at all.  He was delivered at 10:57, five minutes after his brother.  I only had a tiny tear that was smaller than most typical vaginal deliveries.  I never knew or felt anything.

I had a great recovery and was up and walking and pumping less than 2 hours later.  I never had any pain and when I had to leave my babes in the NICU, I was able to drive back and forth by myself and when they came home, I had no difficulties caring for them and lifting them by myself, which I imagine would have been the case if I had had a c-section.

I am happy to answer any other questions you have!
