I'm trying desperately to let go of my plans for L&D, and just go with the flow (which looks like it may include going over my due date). It's so frustrating that I'm trying to look past that day to what lies beyond. Because, hey, one way or another L&D sucks all the sucks, am I right? So let's share what we are looking forward to AFTER delivery. Specifically, selfish things that don't necessarily have to do with the baby. If we get good feedback, I'll try and make a master list and post it so you can keep that in your head during L&D. I've been so obsessed with when and how I'm going to give birth. Maybe what I (we?) need to focus on are the little things that await us on the other side.
Positivity. I'm giving it a try.

4 rounds of clomid, 2 with IUI = BFN
GETTING MY BODY BACK, wearing my clothes again and feeling attractive, being able to drink more than one glass of wine or beer, being able to drink cocktails, being able to drink wine without immediately getting acid reflux, being able to shave my lady bits again.
ETA- sex in more than 2 positions.. the only 2 that we can still do.
I'm going with the 100% majority so far and saying alcohol. Just alcohol in general. It's been a long 9 months.

Ankles and feet that don't resemble a hippo's
Normal exercise!
Sunday morning mimosas & the wine from Italy that has been staring me in the face for the past few months
Wearing my cute clothes again & not having to rotate the same 5 outfits over and over
Having and enjoying sex again
Eating all the sushi & a turkey sub from my favorite sandwich shop
Sleeping (in general) but especially sleeping on my stomach!
Along the same lines of sleeping...getting out of bed without 10 different maneuvers and moaning and groaning (also included is the couch!)
Not having a pharmacy of medications and ointments for every part of my aching body like I'm 90 years old
Getting back to my yoga class and not feeling like a big fat cow
- Eating sashimi, soft cheese, cured meats, soft serve icecream etc
- Sleeping on my back, or front, or however I want
- Getting back into intense exercise
- Buying and wearing non-maternity clothes
- Being able to hug my husband and not have my face one metre away because of the belly
- Getting my hair done
Wine, wine, wine, and beer
Yoga! Like sun salutations with full chatteranga (sp?)
Zumba!! (Like salsa without feeling like my hip is going to go out!)
Seared tuna, salmon rolls, and wasabi all without fear of heartburn
Shoes! And my cute fall clothes (hope they fit soon)
Last but definitely not least- feeling sexy and having sex (not baby making sex) with DH- and yeah he was one of those who was afraid to hurt the baby once she got too big, so it's been AWHILE. Sigh.
