Someone please entertain/distract me

It's about 9pm on Wed night and I am sitting in my hospital room for my induction. The whole check in process was kind of a clusterf$&k (been here about 5 hours and just got my first dose). DH is out now on a food run so that I can scarf something down before midnight. I just hope he was able to get someone before they close (the hospital cafeteria closes crazy early and I was never able to order food).

Already not feeling awesome about how the next 24 hours are going to go based on the last few hours and being alone just has me more anxious about the labor/delivery.

Pleeeaaaase distract me with awesome gifs, YouTube clips, jokes, etc.

I have the feeling I will be up all
night so if you are up late or can't sleep, I want to hear from you!!!!

    I'm sorry I've got nothing particularly entertaining, but I wanted to say good luck. I had an induction with my first and it was smooth. I hope yours goes the same. I was only able to sleep off and on overnight because I was taking pills every 4 hours, so they kept coming to check my blood pressure and give me more pills, but getting breakfast in bed in the morning was nice. Try to sleep if you can.

    Yeah, they'll be giving me a dose every 2 hours. Hopefully I can squeeze in some rest. Sadly I don't know if they will allow me breakfast in the morning--I guess it depends on how I am doing.

    Good Luck! I'm anxiously awaiting the arrival of my LO as well- Due on Saturday- but sooooo bored also! Its 9:30 and I just scrubbed my bathroom & did the dishes! I hope all goes smooth for you and just think in less than 24 hrs you'll be holding your LO with a big smile on your face :-)

    Ah I just got checked in for my induction tonight as well. Still waiting for my dose... Hoping this doesn't take forever and a day. Did I mention I have to pee and I'm hooked up to the monitor for the baby... Good times

    I'm kind of jealous. End of two days overdue here. Hope things go smoothly for you! You should check out the YouTube v video of the toddler twins talking to each other. That's pretty funny.

    Lol I have already had to disconnect myself 3 times to go pee because of these damn IV fluids! Soo happy that DH is here to help me out.

    And thank you all for the clips! I will have to watch some of them later though (DH keeps giving me the stink eye to put my phone away and try to sleep a bit before these meds really kick in) but please keep 'em coming!!

    Yup just had to learn how to disconnect so I could pee before the cervidil. Now I have to wait 2 hrs until I can pee again. I'm hoping I'll make it even with all these IV fluids. Hope your induction is a piece of cake!

    "Convos with my two year old" on Youtube are pretty funny too. Basically this guy reenacts conversations he's had with his toddler, but with another grown man playing the toddler.

    I can't think of anything particularly funny- maybe some late night Jimmy Fallon clips? I also love the ex-porn stars sketches from snl - like Hermes handbags, Swarovski crystals, and Moët e Chandon champagne. Anyway, good luck and best wishes!
