So, I had posted last week about my early ultrasounds and measuring behind. Well, I had another one today at 7w2d and the baby is measuring small (only grew 2 mm in 1 week and dated me at 6w) and had a faint heartbeat (he didn't give me a number, but said that it was over 86, which is what he says he wants to see at 6 weeks). I immediately started bawling and told him that I know my dates and there was no way that I was only 6 weeks (if that were true, I would have gotten my BFP at 2dpo). My RE is hopeful because there was progress from last week, but I think he just has to be optimistic. With my mmc, I measured a few days behind at my 7w scan and had a strong heartbeat, so I'm just not seeing how this can turn out well with measuring over a week behind and having a faint heartbeat. I have another ultrasound next week and although I'm technically still pregnant and love my baby, I've pretty much already given up hope. I probably won't be around much because this sucks, but I just wanted to update since you ladies gave me so much encouragement last week.
