The old wives tale is....

If you stop thinking about it so much, it will happen. If you keep thinking about it, it won't.

Anyone think there is any validity to this? And if so, how do you stop thinking about it when you're excited, TTC, and have the worst case of baby fever?

    Wow, congrats! And I'm sorry about your family member. I wish I had something to distract me but to no avail. But I wouldn't wish loosing a family member on anyone

    I know this girl who has never used birth control, she is 29 and she believes that if you "concentrate after sex to clear your uterus you will not get pregnant" To date she still hasn't got pregnant. Do I think it actually works? No, I think its crazy and just a coincidence. Same thing as the "as soon as you stop trying it happens" mentality.
