Can walk but prefers to crawl?

Ds2 can walk. He has walked across the room many times, however he prefers to crawl. Has anybody's child done this? Ds1 started walking and never crawled again. Do they just outgrow it or is there anything i should be doing to discourage the crawling?

    This is what Tyler does!!! It drives me nuts!! Bradley was the same way as your first, off to the races once they started walking. This one will only walk if he wants to, on his terms.

    I'm glad I'm not alone. It drives me nuts. He will be outside walking and then he drops to the ground and will crawl for the rest of the time.

    DD can walk but still crawls about 75% of the time. I just figured that she'd stop crawling when she felt more comfortable on her feet. She doesn't walk outside (she isn't THAT good at it yet like your LO) so she only does this inside.

    DD crawls if she isnt already standing. She has no idea how to stand up without help or pulling up on something.

    DS still crawls from time to time, I don't think it's a big deal. I'm sure eventually he'll decide that walking is easier/faster and start preferring it over crawling.

    LO prefers walking, but he does sometimes still crawl if he falls down and doesn't feel like getting back up!
