I know the norm for singleton is 6 weeks, but didn't know of it was different for twins, and different for c sections vs vaginal?
Update: I should've been more clear: I have short term disability and they will only pay for what the doc says I need off. Completely separate from FMLA

There are stipulations to FMLA such as having worked for your employer for 12 months, they must have over 50 employees, etc. If you do not meet these qualifications, you can certainly take leave but your position is not protected under that law.
