(XP M15) First u/s didn't go well

Just like my first pregnancy (before DD), my first u/s went poorly. First pregnancy, I was 7 weeks but looked 4 weeks along so Doc just thought I had my dates wrong but I knew better. I started spotting that day which progressed into a natural m/c with Cytotec to help it along 2 days after that first u/s.

Today, I'm 7 weeks 1 day but my u/s looked like I'm 5 weeks and there was no heartbeat. I'm positive on my dates. I started feeling nauseous on CD17 so I'm pretty positive I didn't ovulate late but didn't chart or use OPKs. Doc isn't confident about this pregnancy since it happened to me before. I have a follow-up u/s next tuesday unless I start miscarrying before that.

My first u/s I was positive I had ovulated on July 2nd and was almost 7 weeks or whatever. No heartbeat and no fetal pole. My doc had me come back in couple days but still no and I was convinced I was miscarrying (again). My betas were going way up though so she scheduled another one 9 days out. Yep...it sucked! Anyway 9 days later I had a HB of 130bpm. Today a week later plenty of growth and I am just now 7 weeks and HB was 151 today. Yep I ovulated 10 days later than I thought. I am a repeat miscarriage person though so I am still being cautious but this is the best it's ever been (knock on wood and praise God). So I am saying don't throw out hope yet...you never know. Late implant or late ovulate etc. Is there a yolk? How are your betas? Check out this website misdiagnosedmiscarriage.com it is full or stories of women with no hope who turned around.

sending lots of T&Ps...but I agree with PPs. I *knew* my dates as well, and I did chart. However the dates with my DD were 9 days off and she developed just fine.

I'm so sorry that you're going through this. I'm in kind of a similar situation right now and it sucks. I hope that your dates are just off and your scan goes well next week. Big (((hugs))).
