registering must haves??

Hello. First time mom here. I have no idea what u should register for I have the basics. But any advice on what worked well for you guys or any tricks/ secrets let me know :)

    I would wait to register for clothes. The ones you pick now, may not be available for your shower. I would register for EVERYTHING else you want. Not only does it give people price options (some people in my family love going in on larger gifts, so do parents), but you will also get the registry completion sale after the shower. Worst case scenario - it doesn't get bought.

    FTM as well, Lucie's List helped me figure out what to look for in the bigger ticket items. We also registered for them even though we will most likely end up buying them ourselves, but we wanted the completion discount. My biggest tip is be prepared to spend TIME in the store, and also to edit things down online the next day if your husband goes scan-gun crazy like mine did!
