Growth spurt already!?!?

Anyone else's baby go through the 6 month growth spurt early? My son just turned 5 months on the 11th and the past 2 nights he hasn't been sleeping at all. I'm up with him every few hours trying to get him to settle. For the past I'd say month he's been sleeping almost all through the night with no feedings. Last night he went through 14 oz (2 bottles) and the night before 7 oz. he's also eating solids during the day but that does seem to make a difference. The only thing I can say is the 2 nights that he's been restless, my husband and I and baby went for a walk in the evening; coincidence?? I can't see that messing up his whole night but maybe??

    Hi there.  My guy is just a little older than yours and I can't say whether or not he's going through the any growth spurt early but his sleep has been all over the place this past week.  I feel like we just got done with the 4MW not too long ago and figured that he may still be trying to figure out a new sleep pattern?  Another bumpee once posted that infant sleep is all over the place, especially the first year.  As for your LO, do you think that maybe he's eating too much and his tummy hurts?  We EBF so I'm not familiar with formula (if that's what you're using) but 14 oz of anything at one time seems like a lot, growth spurt or not... especially with all of the feedings and solids he's getting during the day.

    Ooh I should have been more specific lol, that was 2 different feedings!!!! Yeah I thought too that I was finished with the 4 month sleep regression, we had some lovely nights of full nights of sleep then BAM!! Up every few hours again!! Hopefully it will pass soon! I know I can't expect him to sleep all through the night every night, it will be a while before we have anything set in stone
