Bedroom decorating ideas?

There are so many heavy hearts here today that I feel really superficial asking this....but

Anybody have good master bedroom decorating ideas or suggested blogs for them? I feel like we had this conversation 6 months ago, but had trouble finding the thread.

DH gifted me paint chips, and accordion-folded paper for my birthday. Which is his way of saying he'd like to paint our bedroom and install window treatments before the term starts. Both are long overdue - we put up the shades from our dining room when we moved in 2 years ago just because they fit the bedroom windows and planned to replace them...but it never happened. Kids' rooms and rooms guests see just always takes priority.

So we are working on a tight timeline here, and I need quick inspiration so I can buy linens and paint!

    This! Search based on the style you like. I love whites, blues...sort of modern country decor style.

    Pinterest = So. Many. Awesome. Ideas. 

    Or look at the ikea, restoration hardware or other catalogs :) do you have a fave designer ie Sarah Richardson? Check out their website for design ideas too!

    Don't be afraid of wallpaper either, I love super bold patterns for small spaces like bathrooms.

    Eta reading fail...I misread as bathrooms. While I love bold wallpaper, maybe not so much for a bedroom

    I agree with Pinterest. And def check out Sarah Richardsons site. She has some really beautiful, relaxed bedrooms.

    Do you have something in your room that you absolutely love, like a pillow, chair, frame, etcetera? That's where I sometimes find my inspiration. It can be the smallest thing. For the bathroom, it was a soap dish that we randomly picked up.

    Thanks for the tips! I am thinking a pale blue, grey, and apple green palate.
    Originally, after looking at bedding and finding lots of greys, I was thinking grey and yellow, but it seems kind of in its way out and I kept pinning rooms the rooms with another accent color in them.
    So we have some robin's egg blue/minty green paint samples (which I would pair with grey bedding),@) and some grey-beige sample ( which I would pair with light turquoise bedding) to try.

    In the future some sea glass and a jute rug.

    Apple green or yellow print pillows and curtains....probably homemade with fabric from Hawthorne Threads. (You can spend hours on that site. Beautiful and lots prettier and more diverse than options @Joann's.)
