do cramps every two minutes mean anything?

An hour ago it was every three minutes but i decided to go to sleep. The cramps are less distinct now but when i feel them most acutely it comes to about a little more frequent than every two minutes. Basically like period cramps, not so bad i can't sleep through them. Should i call the doc? I hate to trouble them in the middle of the night. I mentioned it to DH but he fell back asleep and doesn't have any advice to give anyway. It's this just more prelabor? I had the burps for three days. Still my water hasn't broken and no bloody show. Three days till due date.

I don't know, maybe it's one long ongoing cramp, I'm having trouble timing this now.

Thanks, I'm thinking it may be prelabor, just getting my hopes up. It's all dissolved into one long cramp at this point.

Sounds more like pre labor. It could progress or it could stall out...

My MW said if you can sleep through them then it's not real labor.

I've been having cramps like that since Sunday and just had a dr appt today. She said it's prelabor and can go for weeks

ugh, so frustrating. my checkup is today. i've been trying to avoid making the appointment for after my due date but i guess i'll be scheduling that later today. feh.

Doc said in 2 cm dilated today. Still waiting. How hum. Getting even more grumpy.
