  • I'm an idiot. I voted bathtub but I should have voted combo.
  • One of our full baths has only a big shower and the other full bath has a claw foot tub. It does have a shower attached at the top, but it needs to be replaced because it leaks. I like the large amount space our shower provides, but that means we are limited to the other bathroom for baths for the kids.

  • Combo but our drain doesn't twist down so we have to keep the water running with a washcloth over the drain for our baths. It's annoying but Eden thinks the running water is fun to play with!

  • Our hall bath has a tub/shower combo.  Master has a separate bathtub and shower.  We take lots of baths, so we like having the separate one.

  • Voted SS. Our master bath has a large shower, one of the main floor bathrooms has just a claw tub (conveniently right next to DD's room) and the other has a small shower stall.
  • (I deleted the other 2 polls)

  • We have a claw foot tub and separate shower
  • We have a separate shower and jetted tub in the master bathroom. I have yet to use the tub but my daughter thinks it's pretty cool because her tub doesn't have jets, so she pours dish soap in mine and sits in about three feet of bubbles. But @Rrrrrachel‌ is right, you want a bath tub somewhere in the house.

  • I haaaaaate baths but you definitely need a tub with a kid. I started showering with dd while I was pregnant, so I wouldn't have to keep bending over the tub, so she's good with both. I would definitely expect most homes to have at least the option of a tub, somewhere.

  • @mamafantastic So YOU'RE the one!
  • I need a bigger bath/shower. Ill love baths but my tub is tiny :(
  • I voted SS because I don't currently have a house, I'm in between moving. However, I'm weird and hate baths so I wouldn't care if a house had a bath. DH always showers with the boys.
  • I voted the rain just to spice things up. While a shower is fine in a secondary bathroom, having at least a combined bath is nonnegotiable for me - I would spend half my time in the tub if I could. What I would reallllllly love is a nice deep soaker tub with central drain and faucet and high ends to make bubble baths with the hubs even more awesome.
  • I like options. I shower for regular hygiene but take baths for relaxation. We have a wet room shower in the guest bath. A large deep tub/shower combo in Jack's bathroom (it's a Jack & Jill that opens between his room and the hallway) and the master has a walk in shower with multiple shower heads and a big freestanding egg tub. I actually see us using the egg tub for Jack's baths when he's bigger because it has a hand held shower head in addition to the faucet which makes it easier to rinse hair and it's easily accessible being freestanding. We might put in an outdoor shower eventually for coming back from the beach/surfing.

I think all houses should have a tub and shower. If it's a one bath house it should have a combo.

It drives me crazy to not be able to pull it down and wash the shower (which is also why I hate solo showers cause they never have that).

Our solo shower has a pull down. It also adjusts up and down a bar for height when it's in the holder. As far as washing the shower, im a squeegee person. If you use a squeegee after every shower you don't get mildew.

Also, I hate shower curtains. They get mildew and why do they suck in and attack you when you turn the water on??!

  • One bathroom is just bath and other is shower

  • Kids bathroom has a shower/bath combo. Master has both separately. DD will only bathe in her tub, and shower in our shower... No idea why.
