How are you feeling (are you tired of hearing people ask you this question yet)? Any fun stories to share? Any US/nurseries/clothes/BS invite pics you want to AW? Appointment updates?

I've been getting a lot more movement from the babies. They're both still breach, so kicks are usually lower (and I swear they were playing Dance Central on my bladder Saturday morning). Often they're strong enough for DH to feel them on the outside, so he likes to sit with his hand on my stomach and feel the action.

And for an AW moment, I'm including a pic of our nursery. Finally got the vinyl monograms up above the cribs this weekend. That was a fun process (sarcasm).

If you could vacation anywhere in the world, where would you go?

Question inspired by the resort in Xpuha, Mexico DH and I went to for our belated honeymoon (four years belated) a few years ago just figured out how to use its Facebook page, so they've been posting amazing pictures of white sand beaches that I can't lay on and tropical drinks I can't have. So, yeah, feeling punchy. I would love to go back there.

If money was no option, I'd love to go to Jamaica. Or to a place where they have the huts that are over the water (I forget where they have those).

I feel pretty good this week! I have been absent from the boards for a couple of weeks because we went to California for my brother's wedding. We had a great time, but I definitely worried more about the babies than I thought I would. But it was a beautiful wedding and I am so glad I was able to go. I had an ultrasound the day after I came back which was great to put my mind at ease. Babies looked great - Baby A was 1 lb, 6 oz and Baby B was 1 lb, 7 oz. They are definitely moving around these days, but more head butting than cute little kicks!! No where closer on names and we have barely touched the nursery. We will get there eventually!

If you could vacation anywhere in the world, where would you go?

Anywhere with a beach! A cruise is my favorite kind of vacation.

Definitely slowing down. Feel bad because DH wants to go out to dinner and go out and have fun "while we can" and all I want to do is sit on the bed in my underwear under the AC vent. We went to a concert last night and that is IT. I'm Done with a capital D. Can't stand being on my feet for crazy amounts of time.
Nursery got painted a light grey. I was excited when I ordered the cribs 2 weeks ago and then I got an email saying they won't be delivered til December!! Ummmm WTF they were supposed to be delivered two days before they sent the email. Store manager is swearing she'll find me them. She has a week
PASSED the 3hr GD test. IT sucked but I don't really eat sugar. Was dizzy and nauseous and had chills etc halfway through. But it's DONE DONE DONE. My Glucose level never went out of normal during the whole thing so I'm happy to knock that off my plate.
@absolutelymaybe I too have been having dance parties on my bladder. Nobody warned me about the Vag kicks either. Baby B flipped yet again - seriously every few days and the kicks are getting stronger.
Our shower invite went out yesterday. Super excited about that. Unfortunately the only time my cousin could do it was labor day weekend but it'll be fun either way. Can't believe we are finally getting to this point. WOW!

If you could vacation anywhere in the world, where would you go?
Really want to go to Vietnam and Cambodia, we were going to go this summer before we got our BFP. Can't think of a better reason to cancel.

I am extremely tired and been having a lot of Braxton hicks lately, but summer break just ended and I have been trying to get my classroom set up for Monday. After everyone found out at my new job I was expecting twins I have had at least a half a dozen people come up and said they were either a twin or have twins. It is finally hitting DH that we need to get stuff for the twins. We got a car seat last week.

...and a random GTKY question...

If you could vacation anywhere in the world, where would you go? I have not had much experience traveling outside the country so I would love to travel around Europe. I would like to see Ireland and Scotland.

We ordered crib bedding (from etsy) and it should arrive this week. I am so excited to see it in person. Of course then we need a couple cribs... details... Feeling good. Tired (as always) and a little heartburn but still managing to keep up with DD

If you could vacation anywhere in the world, where would you go?Asia. For sure. China, Japan and then anywhere else I could fit in before we had to come home. Someday!

@absolutelymaybe LOVE your nursery! Seriously looks like a room you'd see in a Pottery Barn catalog. Beautiful job!

I'm feeling pretty good. Definitely slowing down like others have mentioned. Started getting the bladder/vag kicks too! To be honest, feeling movement that low freaked me out at first. Curious if one of the babies has moved to breech (they've been transverse). I have an U/S tomorrow, so we'll see.

Aside from that, my in laws had a shower for us yesterday (they live out of state). Felt very surreal to be at my own shower after our IF struggle. We got a bunch of stuff from our registry, which was awesome. Holy clothes & diapers, too. I'll A/W a clothes pic

QOTW: I'd love to visit Europe or South America someday. A girl can dream - don't see that happening anytime soon!

Sorry I have been MIA the past couple of weeks. I am just not a fun person to be around these days as I am so darn uncomfortable and all I want to do is complain. I just want the whole thing to be over -- I don't mean I want them to be born now, but I really am looking forward to this pregnancy being over.

I am exhausted all the time. I am still taking my anti-nausea cocktail and still have a lot of days where I feel terrible. I am feeling very whale-like and my belly button hurts now. WTF? Both girls are breech and their kicks are so low. It is very weird! However, they are much more active than DS was in the womb and it is fun to watch them make my abdomen jump and move!

Exciting stuff is the DH is painting the nursery as I type this. Both of our cribs have arrived, our glider is here and so is our dresser. Just have to get DH to assemble them all -- poor guy! We are doing a pink/gray nursery and I cannot wait to see how it all comes out!

@absolutelymaybe We are doing circle monograms as well! I love how yours came out!

If you could vacation anywhere in the world, where would you go?

Right now, my dream vacation is Hawaii. I loved our trip to Napa for our third anniversary (five years ago!!) and I would give anything to be on a wine tour without a care in the world right now!

I feel like a complainer lately... went to a street fest Saturday after work and it killed me--feet, knees, back, everything hurt. My hands are still numb which is uncomfortable/annoying and I haven't been sleeping well because I'm up about 5+ times a night to pee. Ugh I hate feeling like a Debbie Downer. Reminding myself it's all worth it! We move into a new apartment Thursday so I'm excited to get in and get organized and start feeling more "ready" for these babes.

If you could vacation anywhere in the world, where would you go?

Tahiti or Bora Bora, somewhere far, tropical, and relaxing!

I'm still feeling exhausted and have very little energy. At my last doctors appointment I was 26 weeks 1 day but measuring 36 weeks...I thought I heard him wrong and had him repeat it! I failed my 1 hour glucose test so I get the joy of taking the 3 hour. My baby shower was Saturday, it was great! Received a good amount of diapers a a ton of clothes!

If you could vacation anywhere in the world, where would you go? I would love to visit Hawaii!

Good evening ladies!!

I had a doctor appt today fun is! I am 26 weeks measuring 36 weeks as well. My blood pressure was elevated, protein in my urine, swelling same story as it has been. Doctor advised me to start getting prepared. I am just like I want these babies to cook forever. Every day is a new day so I am trying my best to take it easy. But it is not always easy to take it easy. Lol, my fiancé works 2-3 hours away on third shift so he is barely home during the week, I am doing my best taking care of the kids. Other than that I am still pretty exhausted and my heartburn is over the top awful. I have nothing prepared for the babies or my oldest DD starting school in 3 weeks.

If I could vacation anywhere in the world? I would have to say Ireland we are 100% Irish and it would be great to check out the home land.

@Amandakea15 - Do you have anyone who could come help with the kids while you are there? Maybe hire a sitter so you can take it easy?

@absolutelymaybe‌ Most of our families love out of state, my MIL happens to be visiting but is on vacation this week with my fiance's brother and his family. My sister has been doing a lot but she is 19 and has her own stuff going on. We have talked about getting some help. But that costs money.

I am feeling great. Occasionally I get tired where I need a good nap but for the most part I am doing very well thanks be to God! My shower is almost here (Spet 6th) and I can't wait to know if I'm Team Pink, Purple or Blue! My shower invitations went out and I think they are so cute! I can't wait for that day it should be fun to be around friends, family and my coworkers. I attached a pic of my invite. I can't wait to know so I can get started on my twin nursery and finally know if I get to have a Salmon pink wall . I already ordered my bedding as it is neutral and can be used for any gender. i will share once I get started on the nursery. @Absolutelymaybe I looooove your nursery..so warm and cute!

As for appointment updates I had a visit today and took the glucose test and man that lemon lime solution was very awful! I passed on the first try! yay I can't believe I passed because I was so sure I would fail like I did with DS. To anyone that hasn't taken theirs as yet I would advise cutting down on the sugars especially for the two weeks before you take the test. I totally ditched the coke and drank more water and gained great results. I plan to keep away from the coke until then end. I also noticed that since I cut down on the soda I didn't really gain any weight this last two weeks so I will have to increase eating in another way. I live in the Caribbean (Turks and Caicos which is absolutely beuatiful) but I still find Tahiti and Bora Bora to die for! I would also like to go to Paris. Sorry I couldn't pick just one
