I was queezy like crazy during my first trimester, fine for my second and now that I'm into my third trimester, I'm nauseous a lot again...anyone else or am I just going crazy here? (FTM so please forgive my ignorance if this is totally normal)
It is... my best friend went through that with her pregnancy... I am just starting my 3rd trimester so im prepared for whats comming. My first time also. I get alot of nausea from heartburn and indigestion
urge dont remind me!!! i had sickness from 6-20 weeks very mildly every morning and then it disappeared. Come 31 weeks preg and i can't keep anything down!! was diagnosed with mild HG but thankfully it disappeared after 2 weeks ) 38 weeks in 30 minutes time and no signs of sickness!!! yayyyy
Sorry you're going through this. I was really sick until about 22 weeks. At my last appointment my Dr. warned me it could come back in the 3rd tri. I'm hoping it doesn't but if it does at least I'll know its normal.
Thanks everyone! It's good to know I'm not alone and it's pretty normal. But man, it sucks! I didn't think I'd have to worry about that anymore. Oh well, 65 days left for me, hopefully they don't all start with nausea!
I didn't have this problem with my first. But this time, I have been nauseous in the mornings right after breakfast. It makes sense though. With my first I didn't have much for morning sickness at all in the first or last trimester. This time I felt icky the first 3 months and now I feel the same way in the 3rd trimester. But I cant complain, I know a lot of people who have horrible morning sickness. I will take feeling icky over what they have to go through any day!
I will be 29 weeks this Saturday. The last 2 days I have had feelings of nauseousness, and was blessed to not experience it in the 1st trimester. Sailed through the 2nd and now as we begin the 3rd, it's starting to get icky with feeling ill. It's odd, it comes on so quickly, no warning. For the last 2 days, I have started to think about making breakfast and then within 5 minutes time I feel like I am going to throw up. Yesterday was the worst, where I had to actually lay on the couch it was taking a while to subside. Hubby and I are expecting our first baby in October. He felt bad this is happening. Didn't happen the remainder of the days, but boy the morning was the pits . If that is what morning sickness is like, I am sorry for everyone who went through that and again blessed I escaped it.... until now ;(
Today it started up again too. I am wondering if it is because I have some coffee before I eat anything. I have been doing this right along in my pregnancy, with one cup or some sips of coffee before breakfast...and no issues, until now- perhaps. I stopped the coffee this morning after I started to get a bit icky and went straight to water and prepping breakfast. No Nausea today but still felt funky. Maybe it's the coffee. Not sure. Any one want to chime in, let me know! Hubs thinks might be a coincidence with the coffee. Will have to try it out tomorrow with NO coffee before breakfast and see if anything changes. Love being pregnant and feeling the baby thump! It's so exciting!!!!
So relieved to see your posts! Me, too:( Threw up in my friend's car the other day and also this morning....I thought I was done with this around week 20. Meh.
Oh yeah...today has been a bad one. I'm 30 weeks with twins and the past week or so, the nausea has decided to rear it's gross head again. Thankful for Zofran!!
Yes, nausea for me was horrible in the first trimester. It did lessen in the second, but now it is back again in the third trimester. Its usually in the morning before eating. Crackers helped for me until I could sit down and eat breakfast. Not as bad as the first trimester though.
I was very nauseous weeks 6-14...I couldn't eat, smell or even think about any kind of food. After week 14, I felt much better! But in week 28 I started getting bouts of nausea again. I'm 29 weeks now and get nauseous 1-2 time a day, usually after I eat...especially if I eat too much. Still not near as bad as first trimester though...hoping it doesn't continue to get worse
I am 32 weeks and mine is pure morning sickness... littearly breakfast = praying to the porcelin gods. I have also noticed my body is becoming extreamly sensitive and picky about items that I was consuming through out this pregnancy. From research it says its completely normal and we are just "lucky" hang in there we're almost done.
Tons of heartburn for me. I spent the weekend throwing up. I can't eat anything red or drink anything red! I feel for u, ladies!!! Ugh let's get this over with lol
I was so sick first whole trimester. Totally fine and ravenous the second. Now at 24 weeks and hip and back pain keep me up enough but now that she's moved up past my belly button a few inches I've got tons of ligament, or whatever, pain and so nauseous. I've been avoiding my favorite spice foods and trying to be mindful of what I eat and still pain and nausea... and over 100 days to go yet... I hope this is temporary!
I have an appointment with my OB today and this was one of the things I wanted to talk to her about. A little uncomfortable during my 1st trimester (nothing I couldn't handle), no issues at all during my 2nd. I start my 3rd trimester tomorrow and have been sick on and off for the past week. What is going on???
I feel for all you ladies who have been sick the entire time- I have been blessed but unfortunately I think its catching up with me.
Yup, me as well. HG during first tri and lost weight. Let up around 18 weeks.
Back to feeling sick, starting around 28 weeks, but this time around the vomiting is much less frequent than it was in the first tri and I'm continuing to gain weight, although I'm gaining on the "low-end of normal range".
I was sick the entire 1st tri with nausea and vomiting. It went away thankfully by the 2nd and today (I am 37.3 weeks) it has been awful. I have been so nauseous all day along with a really bad headache and all of the other normal 3rd tri symptoms. I don't like this at all.
Yes! But usually only a little queasy in the morning before I eat anything. I think it's because my belly is so big now that it does weird things to my digestive system (heartburn, etc.)!
