Were you dilated at all at your last appointment before going into labor? And if so how much and how long was that before you went into labor.

I don't know for sure, but when the MW tried to check at my last appointment, my cervix was so high and tight that the internal exam hurt too much to even finish...

2 cm and 70% effaced for two weeks in a row, went into labor the day before my next appointment.

1.5 cm and 50-60% effaced on Friday. Water broke Sat and still 1.5 cm and 50% effaced.

I was 2-3 cm and 50% effaced two days before I went into labor.

I was 5-6 cm and 80% effaced on Wednesday. Went into labor on Thursday night and he was born Friday afternoon.

2cm on Monday and went into labor Saturday.

No dilated at all with DS1 and was induced at 40 weeks.

I was checked at 3 PM on Friday and was 30% effaced and dilated 1 cm and my water broke naturally at 10PM that night.

My OB didn't check me till I was 39 weeks and I was 0 that was a Thursday. Then that Saturday night I went into labor. When i was checked Sunday morning at the hospital around 9am I was 6cm. A few hours later I was 10cm. I'm not sure if it's a family thing but every women in my family has fast deliveries and the nurses/ DRs at the hospital were surprised at how fast I was.

I've been walking around for a week at 2cm and 70% effaced. They didn't check me today, she said they will next week, if I make it which I feel sure i will be there.
