We have no set schedule and he doesn't nap well at DC. On the weekends, what's pretty consistent is he wakes up around 7, will go back down for another couple hours after eating and will nap from 7-10 at night. Then he eats and goes down for the night. The rest of the day he'll do anything from a few catnaps to a couple more 2+ hour naps depending on what we're doing.
She's all over the board for naps, but she's a great night sleeper. We usually get around 4 naps, sometimes one or two more, sometimes less.
Like PP, we typically get longer naps in the a.m. and shorter cap naps in the p.m. We try and get her to take some sort of nap after no longer than 2 hours of being awake, sometimes is works, sometimes not.

This. 3 to 4 naps a day. Goes down 90 mins to 2hrs after being up. Naps for 30 mins to an hour. Sleeps great at night usually going down for the night at 8pm.
Naps aren't quite on schedule, but follow some "guidelines". Usually a nap from 8-845 or so. Longest nap of the day is about two hours somewhere between 10 and 1. Cat naps in the afternoon, then another hour or so nap from 6-7. Down for the night between 930 and 10 and sleeps up to seven hours! My son didn't sleep that long until he was almost 10 months old.

If I can get her to take quality naps (at least an hour), then she's usually good with 3 or 4. However, we are struggling with that this week since we're trying to get her to fall asleep on her own in the crib instead of the swing, so right now it's more like 6 catnaps of about 30 minutes each.
She sleeps 7-8 hours overnight, wakes around 6am, nurses and falls asleep for another 2 1/2-3 hours. This has been pretty consistent since about 6 weeks old (now 14 weeks)

Naps are a disaster.... He is the most inconsistent sleeper. We do between 4-6 cat naps a day. Some times he wakes up for the day at 6:30 some times 8 sometimes 10 and that is with going to bed between 8-9 every night. So that changes nap time every day. Once he has been up for 2 hours it's time for a nap. If he sleeps in his crib the nap is 30 minutes (I think he has an internal alarm or something?). If he sleeps on me or we are out of the house he will sleep for hours. I am now always putting him in his crib and hoping he starts to sleep longer in there.
Thank you ladies... My LO just turned 12 weeks and naps terribly through out the day (20-30 min) and still wakes up 2-3 times at night. We start bath at 7 but last night he actually fell asleep at 6:30 and slept until midnight. This has been his longest stretch so I'm wondering if pushing his bedtime to 7 may work better for him (and us!). If we put him down around 8 it can take up to an hour for him to get to sleep and then usually wakes up 3 hours later which leaves me with his longest stretch while I'm mostly awake. Starting work tomorrow so I need to train myself to fall asleep earlier, which I'm sure won't be a problem getting up during the night and then going to work at 6
She usually takes 4 or 5 depends on how long they are and I'm feeling like this gas situation is messing her up! She could sleep longer but it keeps waking her and then she's fussy and wants to go back to sleep but doesn't feel good. Hoping to get it all straightened out soon!
Usually 4. Wakes at 6-630 down about 730 til 830 up til 10 down til 11, up til 12/1 down til 2 and then usually 330-430 bed by 630-7. It's been the same schedule he made for himself since 8 weeks and he will be 15 weeks tomorrow.
Depends.. but overall, I try not to let him stay awake for more than 2 hours and usually closer to an hour or hour and a half when he goes down again. In total, maybe 3-4 hours of napping during the day and 10-11 at night.
Our day is lately up at 6am, down by 7, 30-60 minute naps throughout the day and then down for the night at 6:30-7pm.
Pretty much this, except bedtime routine starts between 8:30 and 9:30 for us.

I agree with early bedtime. Sounds like by 8 you have an overtired baby
If he's falling asleep at 7 an earlier bed time would be worth a shot.
I kinda wish ds would go to bed earlier but I get up at 8 to putter around while him and dh sleep and then they get up at 9 in the morning. So it's half of one half of another.
