Nesting

It's almost midnight and I want to get up and clean so bad. My in-laws live downstairs and I don't want to wake them.. but I can't stop thinking about the dust on the floor, the cardboard boxes that need to be broken up, and laundry. It's bugging me out. I can't sleep.
Anyone else going through nesting?

Definitely, but I always fight it and prefer to take breaks and sit on the couch instead.

Good thing this is our second because I just wouldn't have the energy to get everything done that usually has to be done for a first.

Ugh. I feel like I'll never have the energy needed to do everything we need to do! I hope nesting instinct kicks in, otherwise I'm doomed... The only thing I've been feeling the need to do is buy a bunch of stuff!! Lol

I go through moments of things needing to get done. I have been on MH about getting the crib built. Which I thinks he wants to start this weekend. I need to clean up the paint in the nursery this week (good thing I have a week since I also like to take breaks with my butt on the couch). I am starting to think that having the shower in late September was a bad idea because I want to set up the nursery now. I see all the ladies getting stuff and playing with it. I want to be there. I will have all of October to get things done. Good think H will be around to move stuff as I sit and point to where I want things. I would love to have a bit of the nesting come into play so that I can get things done.

I keep wanting to do things at home but by the time I'm out of work I just want to sleep. But I did organize all our files at work... I have tasked DH to start getting things ready this weekend when he's off and I'm not... so I guess I'm nesting by proxy.

I still don't have the energy to nest. I'm sure my husband will be very excited about it when it happens, though.

I have a list of deep cleaning stuff I want to get done before baby gets here. When nesting strikes, I pick something off the list. Yesterday I cleaned my oven! Today, no nesting because yesterday's nesting made me feel like I got hit by a truck. That's how it usually goes.

DH and I are moving this week. Finally.

So I haven't remotely nested yet. He told me that we may want to rethink this move, first time dad anxiety, and the mama bear in me had a nesting FREAKOUT. Move is still on. I need to get my house ready.

Sigh. I keep reorganizing the master bedroom closet and DS' closet. I just can't get it right. Lol...DS and I are currently sitting among baby stuff in his room. DS is loving playing with his old toys, and I'm staring at his empty closet. There must be a way to organize the baby stuff that makes it accessible and to my liking! I'm insane...

I can relate. We just moved in May intending on staying in that apartment a year. It was two floors, and a roommate was on the top. Roommate ended up screwing us over and leaving two months later, making rent too much. I freaked out mentally because I didn't know where we were going, or when.
Thankfully I have amazing inlaws, and just moved into their upstairs a couple weeks ago.

Yup. I cleaned and polished our wood floor in the kitchen, vacuumed, dusted, and polished all wood furniture in the house. Yeah i think im neating. Deapite being extremely exhausted!

I've been nesting a little as I go along, I'm so tired all of the time now though, I hope I get some energy back so I can continue working on things. It's so weird to have to take breaks all the time!

I've done my share of nesting, down to re organizing every closet and cupboard. But now that I am getting bigger I find I clean for 30 minutes and then need to take a break for 1 hour. LOL

I've been crazy! Cleaning everything... and organizing my LO's room. I've had my hubs move furniture about three times, I can't decide on where to put everything and I snap on my hubby for wanting to help because he doesn't do it "my way" ... poor guy.
