  • I just back from a grocery shopping trip myself and apparently I want all the protein because I bought spaghetti and meatball fixings (beef, bison, and lamb for the meatballs), salmon steaks, pork chops,  and a whole chicken. I think I'm set for dinners for awhile. I also got enchilada fixings to make chicken enchiladas with some of that left over chicken. Got lots of fruit.... mangoes, nectarines, grapes, strawberries..... I eyed the pineapple but decided to wait to try that particular OWT. :P

Oh, and since I didn't want to cook right this minute I picked up some KFC on the way home. :P
  • SS here. Hangry? YESSSSS. Able to keep food down? Not always. I'm hungry and I want to eat without getting sick, DAMMIT!

@tromboner, since I am being lazy and couldn't read your mind, what OWT re: pineapple? I have been eating it for my entire pregnancy. WHAT HAVE I DONE?
I've been eating it throughout my pregnancy too, love the stuff. I was just making a joke regarding the OWT. Eating pineapple is supposed to help bring on labor.

"Tropical fruits like pineapple, mango and papaya contain a proteolytic enzyme called bromelain. This enzyme is said to help soften the cervix, stimulate muscle contractions, and for shortening labor. Pineapple has been used for years for other medicinal purposes as well. Eating large amount of fresh pineapple can also kick start your digestive system, which is also said to be a way to kick start labor. Not to mention, it just tastes really good"

^Having just looked up that info I now see I should maybe rethink the mango I bought. But F that, I LOVE mango!

  • @tromboner You may have just added a thing to my list of crap to do on my due date. I am super determined to try all the tricks of making labor start, but all on my due date.

  • I eat a lot of friggin carbs. Bread, butter pasta with parsley, potatoes made in all kind of kinky erotic ways smothered with cheese and sour cream. I also love breakfast food anytime.mbacon, sausage, eggs with green pepper, green onion and cheese....they make my tummy tremble.

This just became a problem for me. 2 days ago I bought a massive watermelon and it's almost gone....I'm the only one who has eaten it. Oops.
