Has anyone else with an August baby been drinking this tea? I read that it helps tone the uterus and can help with a short labor/delivery. I get some contractions while drinking it, even with just one tea bag. Anyone else experiencing this?
@andrea ri 80 yea the contractions I've been having are annoying, but I know it's working. I read that it won't bring on labor just helps tone and shortens labor. Thanks for your feedback
I'm taking it in capsule form. It took a few weeks to kick in but last week I started having stronger and stronger contractions every night! That means its working!!
I took it in capsule form from about 30 weeks, my labor was only 13 hrs (and only 6 of them were considered active by the drs) and I pushed for less than 15 minutes. Was it bc of the rrl? I can't say, but it could have been a contributing factor.
I drank it like crazy during he end of my last pregnancy, and had a very quick efficient labor. Same this time, but still waiting on baby (today is my due date!), I'm already 3cm and 75% effaced though, so we are ready to get rolling when it does start in case of a fast delivery again!
My first labor was induced, it took me 2 hours to get from 2-3cm and then I went from 3-10 super fast and had my son within an hour later. Hoping it isn't quite that crazy this go round!
I've been drinking it since 32 weeks. At first it definitely brought on extra BH. Now that I'm 37 weeks tomorrow, I've been drinking 2 cups a day of it and I no longer notice BH.
I've been drinking it like a mad woman since 38 weeks - I'm currently 41 wks. It hasn't done anything for me and I haven't noticed any ctx from it, but I figure it can't hurt!
I have been drinking since 2nd trimester. Have worked up to drinking 5-6 glasses a day. My midwive says once you are term you can drink a gallon a day if you want. I actually really enjoy the taste and it has helps with anemia so that is a plus too!
I get mine off amazon prime and buy the yogi brand.

I've been drinking the tea (2-4 cups/day) since 36 weeks and it's definitely been upping my BH contractions -- I feel them intensely every time I drink it. I'm also getting some menstrual-like cramping with them now and apparently starting to dilate (1cm / 50% effaced yesterday) but who knows if that's attributable to the tea or just my body's timing.
My friend drank RRLT and had a super fast labor (FTM), although it was very intense and featured back labor, nausea, etc. She didn't see the correlation till I asked her if she'd been taking anything herbal, just thought it was good for her to drink! So we're now looking at my pending labor as the second in a mini case study!
@zoegirlTX I am drinking three cups a day so far, I was actually thinking of making a gallon with the tea bags I have left and just buy some more later
I drank the tea (alvita brand off amazon) last time, starting i think 36 wks. Doing capsules (from vitamin shoppe) this time Since 34 weeks. I'm up to 3 caps twice a day (400 mg each) since 37 wks. I think I notice an increase in BH shortly after taking the capsules?
Last time I had a very average ftm labor of ~16 hrs but only pushed 4 or 5 times, that part lasted less than 20 minutes! No idea if RRL played any part in that. ETA: it's NOT raspberry ketones, that's totally different pills

Unfortunately GNC does not sell it, I had to order mine online
