Hi!
I am 12 weeks as of yesterday (YAY!) and have my n/t scheduled for Tuesday. I know they won't be able to tell the baby's sex from the u/s but a lot of you have said that your blood tests revealed the sex. I know n/t can't be done after 13 weeks and a few days, so figure you must not be that much farther along than I am! Is there a special test that you do to find out the sex or is it just that since they measure your hormone levels etc. they can determine it? Do I have to be farther along?
Thanks, mamas!

@sweetdreamz6700 @HerHighness @psychobutthead thanks! Hopefully we won't need that extra testing and will just hold out until the 20-week a/s!

My OB prefers everyone to do the cell-free testing. He thinks its easier and much more accurate than an NT screening.
Also - neither an NT or a cell-free will be as helpful for MoM, and the genetic testing center won't tell you the sex.

Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.
Two questions: what is MoM? And what's the difference between cell-free testing and the n/t ultrasound + finger prick I'm having?
Thanks!
