They just left & praise God.
I lost my shit on MIL for saying "we will like you more! You'll be prettier & smarter, if you use the potty."
No, fuck that. She's pretty, smart & loveable without potty training. The only difference will be once she's PT she can piss/shit in the toilet. It makes no difference for the quality of DD as a human. I was livid that she would say this & THAT is why they don't get Abby by herself ever.
The shaming, yelling & forcing is no good. I told her to stop it right now. As usual she got mad & called me lazy.
I'm not going to shame or force her to PT. They tried all weekend & guess what? Yeah, it backfired. I didn't say anything. I just sipped my coffee & had a smug chuckle.
I wish I could talk H into cutting them off. I can't. It's a battle I will lose. However, I will speak up & remove Abby from her hurtful words. I am going to talk to Andrew about talking to his mom about that. I know it angers him but the Asian Guilt/Filial Duty like makes him dumb/mute. Not me!
Speak up for your daughter! I feel bad saying that to him because I know that he LOVES her. He's afraid of his mother. I need him to be on board for this.

Yikes, I don't know then!! Is she saying these things in front of your kids? I really hope not, because it's one thing to be an adult and able to vent, but for your kids to start understanding what grandma thinks of your mom is another.....she really needs a class on how to be a decent human!!
