Re: Personal Goals (Aug 10)

  • Hello there @ellyd14 I am doing well. Did a 6 mile run today so feeling badass. My running partner wants me to do a 1/2 marathon with her in Oct so I am training for it with hopes of being ready. The race is a week after my EDD so I want to make it.

That's awesome! I'm sure you'll totally kick ass at the race.

  • 1. Start my PiYo program- I'm still having some cramping from surgery so I'll take it easy, but it does have 6 workouts per week. 2. Get my house in order 3. Take my son to do something fun at least once this week.
  • Um..it really depends on the day. On days like today (Monday, full moon, short a rep at work) I usually don't do so well b/c caffeine is to me like a cigarette is to other people- when I'm stressed I crave it more. Others days, I do better about water. It's an ongoing battle that I just can't seem to win for good. My goal this week is to keep on doing more of the same- it's repetitive, but it's the biggest issue i have right now.

  • I've been so much more organized lately and feel like I'm actually getting things accomplished! So that's good...This week I need to be going through our shed, garage, and closets so I can get rid of things we don't need/want to take with us during the move.  We're supposed to move in 4 weeks but there's a chance we'll move it up to just 2 weeks!! So I've gotta get going on that.
  • @limad are you moving far?

Yeah, we're moving about 1500 miles away! Luckily, my husband's employer pays for a moving company to do the work for us. So I really just need to declutter
  • @EllyD14‌ still currently on vacay and yes I am enjoying it. Have had a couple breakdowns but all in all doing ok.
  • Exercising did not happen - at all  X_X
I have been much more positive.
