I ate before I went to the OB this morning (which they said I could do) but I'm wondering if my cereal could've messed with the results. My blood glucose was 74 after the hour was up. The nurse actually asked if I had finished the whole drink (yup, and it was horrible).
They said they don't start to worry until it is below 70, but with how nauseated and mentally out of it I've been feeling, I'm wondering if I should push to be monitored more (since too low can also mean diabetes). Any STM's have low scores too? Did you have to take meds or could you fix it with just diet?
Thank you!

Could be you have hypoglycemia (low blood sugar). If you are low it wouldn't be diabetes. Untreated diabetes leads to high blood sugars. Lows are caused from excess insulin (which can happen as a diabetic but are usually from excess meds or increased activity levels).
74 isn't technically low, just lower than normal for a post meal reading (especially considering how sugary that drink is). If you aren't having symptoms of low blood sugar (dizziness, blurred vision, shakiness, nausea, slurred speech etc) you are probably fine and just have an efficient pancreas
