So last night, my mom threw a family picnic, for shits and giggles I had assumed. I assumed wrong! My brother and his wife announced that they were adding to the family in March! I'm going to be a mom for the first time, and then get to be an aunt for the first time! Ahicker for my parents--two grandbabies within months of each other!
On a more serious note, she is diabetic (can't recall which type, but she's been on an insulin pump since she was 13). She's been seeing a high risk doctor once a month, and a regular OB in between those visits. Recently she has been very diligent about managing her levels, and baby is healthy so far. She's only 10 weeks, so she and my brother have a difficult journey ahead. If you would please, keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
Regardless, I'm so glad they decided to share this joy rather than keeping it secret. We get to share our experiences together, and will have cousins very close in age. More so, we will be able to support them in the struggles they may endure.
I needed somewhere to announce it, and you ladies are the lucky party to hear it. ^^

@heleng5β I do believe that's right.
@Halsingβ We live only about 15 minutes apart. C: In our rural area, that's still "neighbors". lol The whole family lives in these parts, so they'll be very close by.
My sister and me are both pregnant with our first child and due 2 weeks apart!
Seeing she is high risk she will be having a C section at 38 weeks putting her at my due date !
I'm beyond excited for the kids to grow up so close together. Congrats!
FX she has a smoother than expected pregnancy.
