Lost Wubbanub - WWF14D?

LO seems to have tossed out his monkey wubbanub while I was shopping today. I was looking at getting the a+a loves anyway. He likes his monkey but doesn't seem to "need" it. He usually spits it out before he goes to sleep. I'm wondering if I should replace him, or use this as a good time to wean him off a paci.

My options seem to be
- replace monkey wubbanub
- just buy new soothies with no monkey
- buy a lovey instead (if so, what kind?)

It's a slow day, so I thought I'd ask, WWF14 do?

    I'd buy some kind of pacifier -- in case, and a lovey. My LO loves his paci and his lovey, and I wouldn't want to go off the paci cold turkey.

    I ordered a new monkey, and an A+A lovey too. I got the kind with the stuffie on it, not the security blanket kind. I'm nt sure if I did the right thing. Clearly over thinking it.

    LO has one (or 7) with the stuffed animal head. He loves them. He doesn't have a preference (yet). I bet R will love it too. Plus it's kinda similar to the wubbanub, so it could help him transition. You did great!

    We have 5 Wubbanubs at the house now, so I shouldn't be one to give advice on the situation; but sounds like you should be good!

    I'd probably have more wubbanub's but in Canada there are only a few I can get through Prime. And the elephant one that I badly want is $27!!!

    That's crazy - I thought our $12 was pretty steep!

    We had a similar issue. We ended up cutting paci cold turkey since LO didn't seem to need it. He did great without it and slept better than he ever had. I was amazed how quick the adjustment went...

    Sometimes I think we should start a baby toy import/export business. We pay so much more up here!
