Baby math

Anyone else doing a little baby math to grasp how long there is left to go? My mind wanders... One month if i go by my calculated due date. Ultrasound due date is sooner & DD showed up early so it could be 3 weeks or less. Counting in days rather than weeks is kind of satisfying, but what date to count from? I notice expiration dates on food to put it into perspective... longer than milk, shorter than chips.

I get asked 10 times a day how much longer & it's a combo of discomfort, anxiety & excitement that i feel like i want some control over it even though it does me no good at all!

    Because my c-section is scheduled he will be here no later than Sept. 9th. I'm hoping no earlier! It makes me even more nervous to know that!

    Bahaha, I thought I was the only one doing that with expiration dates.

    I've also been doing this with movie release dates for awhile.

    I'm due the same week many of the fall tv shows are starting back up! The only foods I am close to are the non-perishables. Makes me sad. 7 weeks to go. :((

    I go by weeks from the due date. Six weeks is less nerve wracking to me than going by days (not by much though). However, I always throw in the caveat that it's really up to her when she wants to come out. I know I can't really control it, so I refuse to let myself freak out over something I have no say in; I just try to be as prepared as possible. Seems like everyone was asking me how much longer yesterday. I guess I need to get out more, lol.

    I spend the majority of my day looking at my calendar. As if it's going to magically change but I'm just all "yep, still just 33 weeks...."

    I still have three weddings to shoot, so I am in no way counting down yet!

    I still have 7 weeks to go, and I work every other weekend, so I have been counting down by how many working weekend's I have left.  Technically I have 3, but DH talked me into leaving a week before I am due, which means I've really only got 2 and a half of the weekends left.

    The idea of me going into labor at work I guess really freaks him out(I work alone at night, just me and sleeping clients so if I were to go into labor I'd have to remain at work until someone could come and relieve me.. hopefully really quickly haha)... and since I've been having a lot of BH when I come off of the long 12 hour shifts, he's ready for me to be done with them.
