Ok, our LO used to go to sleep at 8:30ish and wake up at 7:00ish with probably 3 paci put back inners. For the last month she gets up at least one time if not two times during the night. Then the last two days she doesn't even last an hour. She screams!!! And not to mention I have been dieting and my milk supply can't keep up with her. So now I'm just pumping. So tonight was her 2nd night (1st was about 2 weeks ago) to go to sleep not on the boob. I feel so bad for her, but she did this screaming thing last night and I was bf- so that's not it. Is it the witching hour or the sleep regression thing I hear about. She 4 1/2 months old. Any tips are great.
We are on reflux Meds, elevate her pack n play and keep her in a snuggle thing, have the sea horse, paci with animal attached, vibrating little pillow thing... We will try anything!!
We fed her 4oz and then put her down. She woke up screaming and wouldn't stop and was giving hunger cues so we gave her another ounce. She had cereal at 7:30. She can't be that hungry!?!?
I finally got her to stop crying and now she is just staring at me while I type this. Why won't my baby sleep like normal? What happened? Please help!
Re: What happened to my great sleeper??
Growth spurt, teething, rolling over/can't roll back, sleep regression..... all reasons. At this point, our babies are going through major changes physically and developmentally. It's normal, don't worry. Just do what your Mommy instincts tell you to do. Some nights will be better than others. Good luck!
Question: how many ounces of milk a feeding and how much cereal? Our LO is getting 4oz and one time a day 1 1/2 Tbsp of cereal. Wanted to see where everyone else is- again she is 4.5 months.
Thanks for all y'all's input and help! This makes me feel better- this app is a life saver!
Also, I wasn't taking in enough calories either and my supply suffered. Pay attention to how much protein and fat you're getting. Also fenugreek supplements have really worked for me.
